Call your OB. Your water may have broken and you are in the time period where you could deliver.

Hi S.,
I would call your doctor and tell him what happened. He will probably have you come in to be checked. Sounds like maybe your water has broke or started to leak and you'll soon be having your baby. Good Luck!

I would say if you are concerned, just go in and let them test the fluid- you may want to call your dr. and ask them exactly what they want you to do. Mine said just come on in and we'll see. I was so relieved to do it and not have to worry any more. If you continue to leak, especially while lying down- it might be amnio fluids. The good news is that they have little strips that can check and see if it is- it is very easy. Instead of stressing out about it, you might just want to go in and have them test it, then you don't have to worry all day. If your water has broken, they usually say they want you in within the day b/c of the possiblity of infection now that the protective sack has been breached. Good luck and try not to get too stressed! (Easier said than done, I know)

I have not had my water break with either of my pregnancies, however, if you have been having regular contractions today...you should definitely call your doctor. If your water has not broken, they say to go to the hospital when the contractions are consistantly 4 minutes apart. If your contractions are already at 4 minute intervals, please go to the hospital! :) Good luck to you!

YOU NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL OR CALL YOUR DR. RIGHT NOW. My water broke (as a trickle) with both my boys at 36 and 39 weeks...I never would have thought it was my water, but I was glad I went in....for the safety of myself and for my babies!! It's better to be safe than sorry!!!!!

If you are already having contractions, I am sure that it is probably your mucus plug. Sex is one of the stimulants of getting yourself to go into labor. I am a mother of 8 and have been late a few times and one of the things I was told was sexual arousal will help get the ball rolling. With one of my children I did the same thing and found out that my bag of fluids did not break but sprung a leak and I ended up going into labor in about a day. I would go get checked if you are still leaking fluid of any kind.

I think you need to go to the doctor. If there are white flakes in the fluid, it sounds like your water broke.

Go to your doctor or the maternity triage asap. They can do a test to see if it's amnio fluid. You don't want to be leaking amnio fluid.

Best of luck.

You are 37 weeks, leaking fluid that doesn't seem like pee:), having contractions (which could be braxton hicks, or not), and you just had sex...which when the time is right could get things going a bit!
It's ok to call your Dr and let them know what is going on...believe me, Dr's have heard it all and should want to know how you are doing.
Best wishes as you enter this journey of labor, birth, and motherhood. Go within and trust your inner wise mamma...she will know what to do next.

It sounds like your water broke and is leaking slowly. I would call the doctor's office and tell them what you just told us. If your water did break, you need to have the baby soon to avoid infection. You could be leaking urine, but they can check and see what it is. Good luck! :)

You've either lost your mucus plug or your water has broken. You should be checked especially since you are having contractions. Good Luck!

There is a possibility that your bag of waters broke and that can mean that you will go into labor, but not necessarily so. However, you need to be checked by your doctor because even if you are not in labor, if the bag has broken then the area is open to infection and that is not a good situation. Call your doc or go to emergency to be sure.

If it went through your pants, it's probably more than your typical post-sex discharge. Call you doctor for advice or head to the maternity ward at your hospital to get checked out. If it's a false alarm and they send you home, you're only out a co-pay. Assuming you have insurance, of course.
