For laminate wood floors... you are not supposed to clean with anything that is wet. It will make the flooring over time, pop off.
That is what I was told.

Ask the manufacturer, where you got your flooring.
Each brand, has Specs on it and how it should be cleaned.

Laminate flooring, is 'layered' and glued. So, if wet or left wet... it will delaminate the flooring.

I was told, to just use a dry mop.
Or you can, use a very very damp/dry cloth or mop, to clean it.

Vacuum then just a damp (not wet) mop with plain water. That's all I've used ever for floor that are now about 14 years old.

I sweep with swiffer dry mop then swiffer wet mop. I use the swiffer brand pads, but when I wet mop I use Mr. Clean antibacterial diluted in a spray bottle.

I mop with my shark steam mop every couple days on my laminate wood floors. I love it! It works great!!
