Hey there ladies...I was just wondering if you could help me out with some suggestions. I am planning Ladies events for my Sunday School class at church. Our goal is to have at least one event each month, so I need ideas for any season. All of us are married, and almost all of us have children. Do you have any ideas or have you done something fun with a group of ladies that you could pass along to me?

Thanks!
S.

Have you been to Let's Dish? There's one in Chesterfield, MO. You pick out meals ahead of time from their menu and then you go there, follow recipes and assemble the ingredients into zip lock bags. You leave with at least 4 meals ready to freeze and then prepare as you need them with most of the prep work done already. Let's Dish is clean, organized and fun with a group of women. Check it out online: letsdish.com I think.

Kimmswick and lunch at the Blue Owl is a favorite ladies time. You could also do St. Charles. Botanical Gardens, Shaw's gardens.

Hi S.!

I make jewelry and also do bead parties for birthdays, teenagers and ladies get togethers! That might be an idea for you and your ladies night! I bring all the supplies (misc beads, glass, semi-precious, etc) and let the ladies make their own pieces and just charge based on the material that is used.Another idea is when ladies have children or just married- if I have enough supplies or get an idea ahead of time of names or initials- I can get together letters for each mother to design her own mother's bracelet and then I finish it (lady just pays for supllies used)! If you send me your email- I can send some examples of the couple's birthstone bracelets or mother's bracelets that I have done or that can be made at a bead design party. I am due in July myself so this coul dbe something that could be done i the next few months or after my baby is born if you are intersted! My email laddress is ____@____.com-website of things made is www.christiescreationsjewelry.com! Every party I have done- women and teenagers have had a blast!

A great idea for a women's only evening is an in home spa party. It truly is a fun evening and everyone leaves feeling pampered. It includes facials, neck wraps, hand treatments and gifts for the hostess. It is just nice for the women to be able to relax and gab. I live in the South County area and would be happy to talk to you about it. Some other ideas, especially for this time of year, would be an egg decorating contest. Or a scrapbooking event since most seem to have children. That is nice because people can share the supplies they have. Contact me if you are interested in an evening of spa treatments. Good Luck with the baby.

Fun and productive... have a cooking party! Each person can bring some ingredients, everyone chops and makes, and everyone leaves with ready-made meals for their families to freeze or eat right away!
Wine tastings are always fun for me.
Service projects, like pulling weeds from an elderly church member's garden, or going shopping and donating gifts to organizations like Nurses for Newborns, is always great fun. (You hold a baby shower for the organization, and they pass the gifts out according to need.)
Have fun!

Hi S.! I have a few ideas for you. I am a Mary Kay consultant. My director and I just put together an event for the MOPS group at Holy Infant. It was a spa day and took about two hours. We split the group in half - one group had MK facials and the other group played a little game, did Satin Hands, had a mini chair massage, etc! We did ask the ladies for their phone numbers to follow up, but it wasn't a high pressure sales thing at all. All 20 of the ladies I called said that they had a great time and I had one small sale & booked just one party.

Another idea: I am also a fitness instructor. Invite an instructor from a local gym to come and lead a yoga/meditative class for some reflective time or a Zumba instructor for a big fun Latin dance fitness class if your ladies are looking for a "good time" (without being risque!) You could probably get someone to volunteer their time provided that they could pass out their card/promotional materials for future classes. I know some really neat ladies down at Arnold 24hour fitness if you want suggestions! Have fun with your group!

Try the website www.girlfriendsunlimited.com
I just subscribe to their free email newsletter right now, and you can find some ideas there and on their website. I haven't wanted to take the plunge yet to "join" but maybe one of these days.....
Anyway, worth a look!
