La Mirada Area Preschool Recommendations

Hi Mamas out there!

We're going to be moving to La Mirada in a couple months. I want to find a preschool for my 3yr old son, which he can begin attending ASAP. We are going to be doing quite a bit of remodeling as soon as we move, so it would be great for him to have his own place for attention and play during this time. We are also expecting #2 in July, and I REALLY want him to be in a preschool by that time, so again, he can go each day and get his own time, away from his little sister. I figure that will also help me out, in my balance act! ;)

We are going to be living on the east side (I believe), near Biola University. I have family in Fullerton, so am comfortable with a preschool in the La Habra or Fullerton area as well. I'm looking for a creative environment, but with some structure. My son is very structure oriented (things have to be done the same way each time), so I don't want a free for all type setting. However, I don't want him attending toddler bootcamp either! LOL!

Also worth noting: this will be his first preschool/daycare experience - he's never been in ANY group organized settings. He has learned his socialization skills thru interactions w/my friends that have kids, and his cousins (all close in age). He will be joining a toddler soccer team in a few weeks, but the program is only 6 or 8 weeks long.

Any recommendations are appreciated, as I'm at loss with where to start. Thank you in advance, for your feedback!

Hello! My name is C., and I have had a home child care in the city of Whittier for over 20 years. I just opened my new facility in the city of LaHabra...just 2 months ago. My pre-school is C.'s Cuddle Bugs Child Care, Pre-School, & Infant Center. I care for children from the ages of 4 weeks to 6 years old. My address is 2100 East Lambert Road LaHabra, 90631. I would absolutely LOVE your child and soon-to-be children to be part of our family! I am a small facilty with the licensing capacity of only 45, so you get a "home-nurturing" renvironment as well as a structured weekly lesson plan and curriculum incorporated into your child's day! Feel free to give me a call at ###-###-####. I would love to meet you! I actually grew up in the city of LaMirada...and you have chosen a lovely city to raise your new family! Congratulations! I hope to speak with you soon. C.

Hi there!
My son goes to Emmanuel Preschool in Fullerton on Valencia Mesa. He absolutely loves it! The teachers are so warm and caring. It is not an all day preschool, but other than that... we love it!!
