I usually don't get opinionated about any actor or actress, but this woman grates on my nerves. I cannot STAND her. She is hands down one of the WORST actresses I have EVER seen in ANY role in my ENTIRE life. So I don't get it either!!

I like her!

Although, I'd say so even if I didn't, but I do.

All I have to do is imagine people talking about me like that.

I don't get it either. She always looks like she slept in her makeup.

I read that she's Pattinson's beard anyway. Over-rated in my opinion with a chip on her shoulder. I LOL at the 'she looks like she sleeps in her makeup' comment below! I feel sorry for the director's wife and children.

I thought she was perfect in "Panic Room," and was expecting her to grow into a great actress. Well, can't say that she's fulfilling my expectations, but I don't dislike her. I'm nont sure how much of what is reported in the media is true, or if it is just tabloid dribble, or publicity.

I don't get it. She comes across as really jaded & ungrateful. I don't think "Bella" was a stretch for her at all.

I'm not a fan of her acting. As for her personal life ... I don't care LOL And it would depend on the "source" of the "article" as to how much I'd believe it.

I don't get the attraction either.

I just realized how not into pop culture I am - I had to google her to see who she was. Then I was like, "oh, yeah, she looks familiar."

I liked her in Panic Room but can't stand her in anything I've seen her in. Horrid actress. And I've read articles where she says being photographed is like being raped. Yeah. Now I don't read anything about her.

I read that article. She said she was "devastated" about the affair. Yeah I bet the married director's wife and 2 children were probably a little bit more devastated. And to be carrying on like that where paparazzi can see you and photograph you?! She wanted to be caught. I never got the appeal. She has the most disgusting mouth. You have lots of fans that are kids. Have some class. Ugh.

OK, well I love her to pieces. It's mostly her "f-you" attitude. I share that with her, and I love that she doesn't hide who she is for the media.
She's awkward, yes. But getting better as she figures herself out.

I don't, however, think she's the astounding actress that Hollywood thinks she is. I tend to agree that she plays herself in all of her roles (and yes, I've seen the Runaways and Adventureland, etc...). If I can't separate the character from the actor, then I don't consider it good acting.

But as far as she goes, I think she's adorable and badass.

She doesn't appeal to me either but she fits the role of Bella perfectly.

She doesn't bother me...either way. I give or take a lot of actors. There are actors and actresses I simply cannot stand far more. But I don't keep up on their private lives.

Heck standing the airport I read about Tom and K.(guess I assumed they weren't together anymore anyway)...I just don't pay attention to personal lives...I just watch movies.

She seems like an ok person. Not the greatest actress that ever lived but I don't like all the hate against her. There seem to be a lot of people out there (women especially) who have it in for her big style!! I would get annoyed too if paps were following me everywhere and I certainly would not have a huge grin on my face whenever someone took my picture when I didn't want them to. As for her having an affair with this guy, who knows if its true cause I certainly don't believe everything I read in those rags and more fool the folks that do believe everything they read.

An actor or actress is only as good as the role they are playing. I am not a Twilight fan and thought she was atrocious. But, really, how much did she have to work with as Bella?
I saw Snow White and thought she was really decent. Kristen's redemption, if you will. I don't know much about her outside of the screen, so I think that's a fair judgement.
I didn't know about the affair until you mentioned it on here and looked up a couple articles. Pretty sad, for everyone involved, that she would do something so low.

I'd be broody too, if I had a billion photographers following me all the time.

I do admit, that I don't the appeal of her acting. I actually think she is an atrocious actress. I mean, awful. I wonder how she even got cast as an actress. As far as WHO she is, well I can't judge that. I don't know her, and the facade she has to the public, probably has nothing to do with who she is!

I have nothing against her, nor am I her biggest fan. I am not sure why guys find her so dreamy. She is dark, emo, no emotions on her face....she seems the same in person as she does in her movies. she seems BORING.
I do think she is very beautiful. But, personality needs a boost. She always seems like she is on pills to me. But.....who knows.

I am disappointed but I am kinda immature in a way. I love the twilight books and movies. I was really looking forward to part 2 of breaking dawn but now I am not sure how it is going to feel for me. I liked watching the movies knowing they were dating in real life. made it more romantic. Now I am wondering how this is going to affect the making of the rest of the movie (not sure if the movie is complete yet). I'm pissed she did that to EDWARD lol.
Personally, I think she brings something different in her movies;however, she tries PAINFULLY to hard to be different and ironic and awkward.... If that makes any sense. Just my opinion.

lol...i get what you're saying. it's the teen angst angle. we're just not there anymore (if we ever were- i never was into the angst thing). but to all her fans, they identify (because you know, teens' lives are SOOOO hard...and NO ONE UNDERSTANDS...) lol.

i generally steer away from anything too teen-angsty, but i did enjoy twilight. not to the levels that many people did...lol. actually in the process of watching them (WITH hubby if you can believe that!).

no i have never been a fan. actually, while re-watching the movies (i watched them when they came out then forgot about them), i was surprised to see she's actually pretty in them. in all the photos and appearances i've seen her at since, she's looked awful and miserable. she can really be pretty though. too bad she doesn't seem to care at all. if she doesn't why should i? just another angst-ridden teen. (not sure if she even is a teen but it doesn't matter...) those are a dime a dozen.

I don't care what she does in her personal life - I just don't get the hype around her.
