Secondly, let your son go and live with Dad. Truth is truth and you have a daughter to think about as well.

Thirdly, any lawyer can get the retroactive child support reduced due to ability to pay.

Your son is 16, not 6. You've raised him the best you can. Let the ex have custody of him full time. Stand back and watch. it's what I had to do with my daughter...I allowed her enough rope to hang herself...without an ounce of regret.

I love my daughter...and I'm sure you love your son...but there has to come a time when your child makes a choice...and he made his...as did my daughter...and it's my experience that the more you "fight" the more they want to fight with you.

It's odd the peace you can find by saying...no more.
