Hello I am new to Keller and trying to get some info. on locations that offer kids sports for my 5 year old and 3 year oldl. I saw that the YMCA is doing flag football for spring and was wondering where else kids get involved in sports other than the Y. My 5 year likes baseball, basketball & soccer and we would like to get our 3 year in fall soccer. Thanks, any info would be great!

What can I do next?

where do you live? if you live south of 170, west of 377, east of 35 and north of 820 then you will be in the North Forth Worth Soccer Association territory, Not Keller... go to www.nfwasa.org and you can sign your 3 year old up for fall soccer after May 17th. if you go to keller you will still need to get a release from North Forth Worth if you live in their territory. The fields North Fort Worth uses are on North Beach & Shiver just North of Walmart by YMCA. Also, Haslet, Saginaw and the new area just west of 35 are "open" territory and you can still play with North Forth Worth Soccer Association.

Check out your local "parks and recreation" website...as well as google your location and Little league for baseball. There is also Pop Warner football although that is regular football not flag.

This should get you all the info you need.

The indoor place on Golden Triange is Blue Sky, they have leagues for that age as well and the bonus is that it's indoors! Keller Pointe has spring leagues/classes, you can google them. If you're in the Heritage subdivision there is a summer swim team, they just have to be able to swim the length of the pool using any stroke. There are also gymnastics programs in the area that are good, Flips for Fun is great for little ones; ASI is better for the older ones in my opinion (we've done both). KYA is a good program, but if you're on the west side of 377 you fall into the North Fort Worth Soccer Association (NFWASA) - I've heard both positive and negative about it, really seems to depend on your coach.

Keller also has swimming. The Barracudas are a summer swim team and the Natatorium offers swim lessons and hosts a year-round club team, Lakeside Aquatics.
