Do you ever find yourself watching your kid's shows or listen to their music when they aren't around?

I caught myself watching almost 20 minutes of 'Timmy Time' and he was already in bed napping.

Joe from 'Blue's Clues' is my favorite. Apparenty Steve and Donoan (Joe) have a cult following. Hmmmmm...

Handy Manny is voiced by the dreamy Wilder Valerrama from 'That 70s Show.'

What can I do next?

This is SO FUNNY!! And proves I am not weird! LOL I have also thought Anthony (the blue wiggle) and Sam (the yellow wiggle) are quite handsome. I also think Handy Manny has a nice voice! I can't help it. I am a sucker for accents!

I once had impure thoughts about Steve on Blues Clues b/c we had it on 24/7 (don't tell my husband).

And my friend had a sex dream about Anthony (the blue Wiggle) b/c she had it on 24/7.

So yes, my friends and I have caught ourselves watching shows and dreaming about them when the kids aren't even home.

Lol... I had a kiddo in my office today and played some music for her as a reward. About an hour after she left I realized I was still jammin' to Veggie Tales!
You know you've hit the bottom when you flip through the channels and say, "Man, there's nothing on." and then search Disney and Nickelodeon for something "good" to watch- and get excited because you found something!

I love Yo GABBA GABBA! Jack Black is my favorite....Really any of them though are fun and the music is really good!

As for anything else...AHHHHH...No way. My kids slept at grandmas Sat to Sun this past weekend. Sunday morning we were eating before going to get the kids...My hubby turns on Phineas and Ferb(his favorite cartoon). I looked at him and said very calmly....''You had better change the channel before I scream''...I hate that cartoon....He will watch it all day sometimes!!

I HATED Yo Gabba Gabba when I first saw it...but now I find myself going to 'On Demand' and watching this one episode about the weather that has some of the BEST songs on it! I love it! *My husband informed me that almost all the 'catchy' songs I like on there are rip off's of other songs I know, go figure?!

I catch both my dh and daughters bf watching the kids channel, treehouse, like its the most intriguing thing... Pretty funny. I zone out, Dh is always explaining the characters & show to me.. I get stuck at the theme songs, wonder pets, never leaves my brain.

I like some kids shows, that particular one is a no no in our house.
But yes, we like to watch Pheneas and Ferb, Clone Wars, My little pony friendship is magic and several others.
They are fun shows, I am not big into all these dramas , and reality tv that many other women are into, I don't need that stuff my life already has enough drama. The kids shows are light hearted and just fun.

ETA:
Bowling for Soup does the music for Phinaes and Ferb. and Barenaked ladies has a kids album out that is really good.

OMG yes, that would happen sometimes! And it was usually Sesame St. or Authur. I think I would sit down from housework, flip on the TV and since it was usually already on PBS I would just sit there and space out. SO embarrassed of myself after about ten minutes or so when I realized what I was doing!!!

I got into the Jonas Brothers a few years back when my oldest liked them. Now my youngest likes Big Time Rush. We might go see them in concert. I also got into the Doodlebops and the Wiggles with my kids too. Now my oldest and I like the same music.

HA! Your post CRACKED me up lol. YES : ) I have found myself watching the Backyardigans. The song and dance numbers on that show are awesome! Tinga Tales is really cute too ; ) Sesame Street is hilarious! I work a high stress job so sometimes a little mindless TV is just what I need.
