My family will be going to Keylime cove in 2 weeks and we have never been there before. It will be myself, husband, and 10yr son. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for things to do there? I know there is the Gurnee Mills mall and Great America but what else? Any restaurant suggestions would be great too. Thanks.
Keylime Cove is great...there is a lot of things to do there plus a game place inside like chuckecheese or haunted trails...you guys will have a good time!!
my suggestion is to bring another kid along lol. a friend of your sons would be great as your son is going to want to run, run, run run run..... you and hubby will get pretty tired of the slides etc after the first 10 times. kenosha WI is not to far from key lime cove. my son goes to school at carthage. he says there is a jelly belly factory not far you might want to check into that
In Gurnee Mills there is the Rainforest Cafe (or at least there was the last time I was there which was 2 years ago) that's kinda fun but a bit on the pricey side.. There are other restaurants around Gurnee Mills.. Can't be a whole lot of help, I've only been to Gurnee Mills and Great America..
Great America isn't open now. Gurnee Mills Mall has a movie theater and an ice rink as well as lots of shopping and eating options. The Rainforest Cafe is still there.
Besides the waterpark and game area, KeyLime Cove has kid's activities throughout the day. You can call them and see what's going on during your visit.
