My entire family sees Dr. Kara Kassay at the Lake O. Medical and Dental Clinic. It is a bit of a drive for us (we live in Beaverton) but worth it. She is an amazing whole family doctor. I can't imagine seeing anyone else. Here is her web site

Burlingame Family Dentistry, Dr. Rebecca Morisse. They do adults and also kids, very gentle and professional. My 3 year old just had her second cleaning and she loves it.

Hi Hillari, I too live in Parkland -.welcome to the neighborhood! :)
We just tried out a new dentist in Downtown Tacoma and they were amazing! I took my 2.5 year old there and I was so impressed with how well the Dr did with her! They are newer (opened in March) so they're not crazy busy, and they take their time, and you're with the actual Doctor(dentist) most of the time. you can take a look at www.brooksdentalstudio.com Not sure if you have insurance restrictions, but they accept most of them. If they ask who referred you, just say T., they'll probably know.
Also, because of their location, I took my daughter on the light rail as a perk for going to the dentist. It's a little bit of a walk from the station, but on a nice day it's fun! But now she gets a cookie and a toy from the Dr, so she's not so insistent about the train!
Good luck!

If you're interested in alternative medicine, I can highly recommend my doctor, Katherine Zeiman. She's a naturopathic doctor, and she really knows her stuff. She is a midwife as well, and specializes in women's health and pediatrics, though she sees men too. I really like how she takes the time to get to know you and doesn't act hurried like most doctors do. My daughter was always terrified of the doctor because he would just take her and examine her so fast that she didn't have time to digest what was happening. But Katherine and her assistant took time to get to know her first and she lay still while they poked and probed and was just fine with it. She also gave me a natural method of curing an issue I had been dealing with for quite some time, and it worked great--without drugs!
