R.,
I know Sundance Montesorri downtown is supposed to be fabulous. I agree with a pp about FTW, I am from Dallas (went there today) and I'll NEVER move back! LOVE FTW! Cook's is a great place. I believe they have their own daycare too onsite.

Have you been to downtown Fort Worth recently? You said it is not the best part of town, but in past years, some of the most valuable real estate is located there. The west side is where some of the richest people in Texas live. Not trying to be rude - but most Dallas people don't realize that there is a great city over here. I've lived both places and would choose Fort Worth over Dallas anyday. Much nicer.

Anyway - I have also heard great things about the All Saints daycare. There are also some great preschools downtown, such as First United Methodist, First Presbyterian and the Montessori school, which I think is also a daycare. Check them out - I think you will be surprised.

I am not sure here but some of the large hosptal have there own childcare. My girl friend works for St Luke's Hospital and they had there own childcare center but it was only for employees.

I am not sure if Cook's Children has that available or not, but you might ask the HR Dept.

I have friend's who have been very happy over the years with The Montessori at Sundance Square. I'm sure that would be convenient for you to pickup and rop off too. Good luck!
Here's their web site: http://www.montessorilovetolearn.com/fortworth.asp

Also, I know that AllSaints (off 8th and Magnolia) like the other response mentioned have a childcare center. That would be close too. I have a friend that has used them as well: Baylor All Saints Medical Center Child Care ###-###-#### (you may have to leave a message).
