If you could go on a dream vacation right now, where would it be?
Mine (right this very second, would probably be back to Hawaii. :)
Fun atmosphere, great weather etc.

What can I do next?

As it's 110 Herr, somewhere cold. Don't know if Alaska would count for some people, but always wanted to go. Or Australia.. But I would rather be anywhere but Dallas right now.

I want to go to Australia. And I'd love to see the pyramids in Egypt someday. Hopefully the government will be much more stable then. Honestly, I'd go almost anywhere. I love traveling.

Santorini, Greece, is a place I'd like to go. I saw a special on Food Channel with Giada De Laurentiis which really REALLY compelled me to go. Great views, great architecture, great , light food, perfect turquoise sea...the hotel where she was staying had a pool right on the edge of the cliff so she was sipping her drink, immersed in the water, overlooking the coast as she was flying above everything...just dreamy! Not to mention the white and blue of the buildings and churches around her...so uniquely mediterranean!

Well, it's hurricane season in the caribbean... so lets say in just a bit, when it's not:

Start off in the caribbean for several weeks. Drift on up to the UK for a few weeks. Mosey on down to Egypt and go up the Nile for a few weeks visiting the Valley of the Kings/Queens, Amarna, Luxor, etc. Head on up to Italy for a week or two in Rome/ meet up with some family. Jump the pond and head over to the mountains for a few weeks of snowboarding (CO, or maybe the NE). Drop by the French Quarter for a long weekend. Then head back down to the caribbean for a bit. Come home.

Hey, you said 'dream vacation'.

Hmmm, If I could go anywhere and do anything and have lots and lots of unending spending money and the trip was paid for...I think I would go on a world cruise.

I would love to experience the world but still have the same hotel room each night, the ability to eat the same food each meal, have a pool that I swam in yesterday that I know won't be contaminated with who knows what that I haven't been exposed to, the same people helping with the kiddos so that I could have some grownup time at dinner in a nice formal setting if I wanted to dress up....so many more reasons that I can come up with. Like money, not having to change money each day to what country that I am going to visit, I can buy what I "need" on the ship with the credit to the room thing.

Also, the drawbacks, not being able to see everything in a few hours that we would be in the city of landing. For instance, I might want to spend a whole day and a whole evening in Tokyo but the ship is only there for 8 hours, that's not enough time to actually experience the culture.

What you can do too is start one place, go to another destination, instead of flying home you get on a different ship and go through their itinerary, then get on a different ship at the end of theirs, then eventually you finish just about where you started and have seen most points of interest in the whole world, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, and spent at least a year of your life seeing the world we live in.

if money and time are not an option - a world cruise...

get to the countries I missed while living in Europe - Iceland, Ireland, Wales, Isle of White, Spain, Greece, Southern Italy....every continent....

I'd go from East to West - starting out here in DC, then to Iceland, UK, Europe, Middle East, China, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and California....

See?! not much!!! LOL!!! So when I win the lottery - I'll be gone for a while!! Who knows!! I might decide to take someone from here with me!!
