JFF - Do You Take Your Cell Phone to the Bathroom?

I always end up having to pee while I'm on the phone, so yes, yes I do, and no, I don't mind if anyone else does either!

Since it's usually in my pocket, yes.
If it rings while I'm sitting on the toilet, I will most llikely answer it.
It doesn't bother me for other people tyo have phone converations in stalls next to me in public restrooms. Their talking doesn't stop me from doing what I came to do.

I hate to admit it but it is true!!

I do, however, try not to make 'noise' lol

And, I DO wait til the call is over to 'flush'!

I take it with me to browse the web, check my emails, look through my pics if I'm bored, but I don't talk on it.

LOL...yes I do! I don't really talk on the phone in there, but I definitely check FB and play games.

Please don't tell my family.....but sometimes I stay in there a little longer than I need to just for the PRIVACY and QUIET!!

Good grief, no way. I mean, if I am in a public restroom, my phone is in my purse, so sure it is there with me. But at home??? Good grief. It sits in my purse on the kitchen counter and stays there. All day (unless someone calls me on it, then it goes right back into the purse).

The ONLY reason I would EVER take it into the bathroom with me is if I was expecting a call that I could not miss and couldn't wait to go potty.

I'll take it into the bathroom for the games but I do not talk on it while going potty :)

yes i do. its the only room in the house that locks and the kids can't stand to see me on the phone. They go crazy trying to get my attention. So, I will lock myself inthe bathroom to talk. What I never ever do is anything that would make bathroom sounds into my phone! No flushing, etc. That's just rude.

Welll...I would never ever be on a call in the bathroom. But I will admit I am a bathroom reader. Don't be dissing on me, if you've a mind to! When my daughter was little, and hubby was clueless, it was the only time I got to myself and sort of "forced" him to figure out how she "worked"! LOL

Now, my husband on the other hand. He cracks me up. He plays XBOX online ...alot. No biggie, our kid is a teen, does her own thing, I might be reading or watching TV in the bedroom, and hes on the big TV out in the livingroom. But the bathroom is next to our bedroom and I will hear his yakking with his online pally-dudes...while he is peeing. Hes like a child who waits too long...runs in there with this Howard Cosell huge headset on, trying to unzip his fly as fast as he can, doing the potty dance, cuz he didn't follow the rule of " STOP and go potty"...LMAO. But hes still talking overloud about the stupid aliens they killed on the game or what..ever! Makes me laugh every time. And yes, he does it with his cell phone too occasionally, and I know he has had to requisition more than one work-cell phone cuz they have gone "swimming" before...stupid man! LOL

I do sometimes... I had to pee a gazillion times a day when i was pregnant and it seemed I couldn't talk on the phone for more than 10 minutes without having to run into the bathroom.

I try to be "polite"- but I if I am having a long conversation I will take the phone in with me rather than hang up on someone like my grandma. If I can though, I pass the phone to my 2 year old... and she chats for a minute while I sneak away to do my business.

A few years ago, before kids and pregnancies I would have said "NO NEVER... lol!"

I don't have a cell phone. And if I did, I wouldn't take it to the bathroom.

I am not so important that I need to be reached in the bathroom.

Yes, sometimes. If I'm already on it and don't want to hang up. If I'm gonna be awhile and my husband is away from home. If I think I might want to play a game or talk or something whiel I'm just sitting there twiddling my thumbs. I don't touch the toilet, though, with my hands. And as soon as I use my hands for anything toilet-related, the phone is off limits. Then, I use alcohol to wipe my phone down after I've washed my hands.

If I'm on the phone with one of these people and gotta go I have been known to...Mom, Sister(s), Best Friend and Husband!

after having my kiddos my bladder is SO weak! If I have to go... I have to go NOW. So if Im already on the phone ( cell phones aren't turned on when we are home) with you... yup your going to be joining in the bathroom.

If I'm gabbing on the phone with my mom I'll sure go to the bathroom while we are chatting! On the flip side I wouldn't go into a public restroom while still on the phone. If I'm talking to my boss or a doctor or something I would only go to the restroom if I couldn't not! But, there is the magic mute button for flushing if you're trying to keep it a secret!

I have this weird thing with my phone. I have to have it all the time. And if I forget it my 2.5 year old will get it for me.
I was a care taker of both of my parents before they passed (for a number of years). I had my phone with me 24/7 to help them in case they called. So I just got used to having it with me and never turning it off.
Plus I got my very first smart phone this year and I can do everything on it, love it.

Yes, I often go about my business and talk on the phone where ever that takes me.

I was playing sudoku on it. Apparently no one cares that I am on the internet here but pull out my phone to play and my boss is all over me like a cheap suit!

Otherwise it stays on my desk. :-/

I think I do... but mostly b/c I keep it in my pocket. I wouldn't answer it unless it was my mom or husband and even then I would be discreet, (no flushing and such).

If I am expecting an emergency call and just can't hold it, then I'll take the phone too.

At home? Um....no.

At the mall or other public place? Probably because it's in my purse.

If I'm waiting on a phone call I do. If I am on the phone and I need to go I don't go in with it, I will call them back later, lol.

Sometimes. Especially if I will be in there for a bit and I can play a game while I'm going. ☺

I have with my husband on the phone but that's all. My mom and best friend do it while on the phone with me. I have cleaned the toilet while on the phone and I always feel funny when it's time to flush after I'm done cleaning and people are like "did you just flush the toilet?" lol!

I am to busy in the bathroom to be able to answer the phone. I get in and then I get out.

Not to rain on your parade but I really think this is super rude and unsanitary! There is no call that is so important that you have to take it while you are "indisposed." That is what indisposed means!

The women where I work are always on the phone while doing their business and flushing! Absolutely disgusting! You should go into the restroom and do your business - no conversations necessary! IF you think I am kidding about the germs on a phone check this out:

Do I take my phone in the bathroom? Not at home. It resides in my purse outside the home and yes, I normally take that to the bathroom. If it rings, it goes to voicemail until I am done, flushed, and washed my hands AND EXITED the bathroom. This is what voicemail is made for!!!

There is no emergency that is going to take place while you are in the bathroom that you can do anything about while using the potty. I wish more mothers would wise up and teach their children better manners. And I really hope the next time some "kind" person lets my children see their "smart" phone that they were "smart" enough to not have been using it on the potty. YUCK!

My husband texts like there is no tomorrow.
The phone goes everywhere with him.
He's got a water proof model and he's even taken it with him into the shower.
He got one of the few they make with no camera built in - so he's not doing anything kinky in there!
He doesn't take calls in the bathroom, but he'll text.

No, I don't carry it around with me, especially when I'm home. Its usually on the table next to "my" chair and it stays there. =)

Sometimes, if im on the phone for a long time with someone close. I just say "cuse me, I have to pizzle"
