my hunny called me at work a few weeks ago after hearing it and said it made him think of me. when we got home from work we listened to it and got all teary together :)

Egad. None!!! (sorry, was married to a musician, shudder. You DID just make my eyes fly open in horror, though! :)

Lone Star's "Amazed"

mine would be weird al yankovic's "Another Tattoo". his take on BoB's song "nothin' on you" featuring bruno mars! ha!

There were two songs playing when my kids were born that just grabbed me and said "These are about my babies"!

With my first child, who was born with an attitude, it was Mary Chapin Carpenter's "Passionate Kisses" - "Is it too much to demand, I wanna comfortable bed that won't hurt my back, warm milk to fill me up, warm clothes and all that stuff... I'll shout it out to the night, give me what I deserve, 'cause it's my right!" Boy, would he scream to be fed - I couldn't get my shirt fixed quickly enough!

And for my second child, Rod Stewart and "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You." - "... have I told you there's no one else above you? You fill my heart with gladness, take away all my sadness, ease my troubles, that's what you do."

Two very different little personalities. I really DID feel that they wrote those songs just for me!!
