The gold band part of my husband's college ring looks like it is about to split or crack. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good, decent, and fair priced jewelry repair person?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Robichau's in the Panther Creek shopping center in TW is wonderful. They've been in business for 20 some years here (although just recently moved into their current location). They've done numberous stuff for us and always fairly priced. DON'T go to Donahoe's. They're stuck up and WAY overpriced!!!

Broyles Jewelry, located in the Kroger strip mall at Cypresswood and Champion Forest in Spring. They are a fourth generation Houston-based family-owned jewelry store, and have handled watch repairs and battery replacements for me. I am sure they could also do ring repair -- they have a good-sized jewelry repair area in the back. They are professional, honest and friendly. They also have some neat photos on the wall of their store in the late 1800's and early 1900's!
