My family always has this jello salad on Thanksgiving. I think it's called Grasshopper Salad but as kids my sisters and I called it "Green Stuff" and the name has stuck.

1 sm. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 handful of chopped walnuts or pecans
I tub of CoolWhip
1 sm. box of green Jello, prepared according to directions

Mix cream cheese, pineapple and Jello together. Fold in CoolWhip. Stir in nuts. Chill until ready to serve.

We usually have a red jello with cream cheese at Thanksgiving (or Christmas) time. It has cherry jello (I think) and melted red hot candies, so it has kind of a cinnamon flavor. You let half of it set up in the fridge and then spread a thin layer of cream cheese over it. Then you pour the rest of the jello on the top. There are a couple of other ingredients ... I think there is crushed pineapple and maybe walnuts, but I don't have the recipe with me right now. If you're interested, let me know and I'll track it down. : )

This is my all time fave:
1 3 oz box raspberry jello
1 3 oz box lemon jello
1 1/2 cups boiling water
7 oz 7-up
1 10 oz container frozen raspberries
1 16 oz can cranberry sauce

Dissolve jello in boiling water
stir in frozen raspberrries, breaking up as it melts
use a fork to break up the cranberry sauce and stir in
add 7-up
stir gently (7-up will fizz all over if you do it too rough)
pour into a 6 cup jello mold, chill overnight
serves 8

Enjoy!!

A very easy favorite of my family's is:

Lime jello
Can of pears
Follow label directions. Use pear juice and cold water to equal cold water recommendations.
