Jammies...

HI. I am looking for something that just may not exist, but if it does, and you know where, please tell me!

I would love to have some short sleeve lightweight one-piece footed jammies for my 15 month old. And if that is not possible, I'll go for long sleeve...as long as they are lightweight.

Thanx for any leads!

T.

Like some of the other moms have said I would try Children's Place,Gymboree or the Gap. I love name brand clothes for my kids, but the older they get the less I buy them because they get ruined so quickly, but the only pajamas i buy for my kids are from the Gap. The wash and wear the best and are warm enough in the winter and light enough in the summer and my daughter tends to sweat a lot at night.

Maybe Children's Place? If not, cut the arms off of a long-sleeved PJ, or have them hemmed. Maybe you should go into business!

I found some for my daughters at JC Penny's, they are made by Carters. You might also try babycenter.com. The only company I have ever seen the light weight ones made by is Carters! Good luck,.

Try "The Children's Place". They have long sleeved cotton PJ's. Always a good selection, cute and I think 3 pairs for $30 (or $12 for one).

Since my children wear-out their footed pajamas during the winter, I cut out the feet, about to the knee and cut off the sleeves just above the elbow and call them their Summer jammies. They don't fray and work great.

I sure Carters has this type of jammies, but they may only sell them for the fall and winters months, so you may not be able to find them now. Google Carters clothes and see if you can find their clothes.

I havent seen any short sleeved ones. But The Childrens Place carries really great light weight sleepers with feet. I have been using them for years!

Hi. I've never seen footie jammies with short sleeves, but we've had good luck with summer-weight long-sleeved ones from Children's Place. Hope that helps. :-)

I only have one pair but Carter's did make some lighter weight footed pjs that were two piece. The long-sleeve top snapped on to the waistband of the pants, so you could easily use a onsie or another t-shirt with the bottoms. You might try one of the Carter's outlet stores. Good luck!

I was also going to suggest Children's Place. LL Bean sells really nice, lightweight, footed PJs, but they are long sleeved.

I had a pair of short sleeved, one-piece PJs (but not footed) for my daughter when she was younger from Garnet Hill. They were REALLY nice but pricey (they were a gift from someone). They aren't carrying anything like it now, but you might want to check back there closer to summer.

I do not know if you sew. However, if you do you can get any pattern that has what you want and make it in any fabric, you want. Most kid pattern are really easy and takes about a half hour start to finish. I buy two or three different kids fabric and cut all of them out at the same time and sew them at the same time this only add about 5 to 10 min and I can make 3 for about 10.$ when kids a little they think its neat that mom made them

I had the same problem--it's like pj makers think once babies are 12 months their little feet don't need coverage! Anyway, I got some at The Children's Place and OshKosh. I've also seen ones that do not zip but snap the top to the bottom by Carter's.
