It could be a yeast infection. You should probably have it looked at by your doctor to determine if you have an infection or if you are healing normally.

I had this happen with my first child and it was indeed infected. I went to the doctor, he oozed out the stuff and the soreness and itchiness went away quickly. Just go check it out. It will give youpeace of mind.

use cortaid. If that doesn't clear it up in a few days then go to your doctor and may need an antibiotic if it is cellulitis. I got cellulitis on my 3rd one and it got really bad. It was itchy, burning, and oozing and thought it was leaking but ended up not leaking but infected. Baby is 11 years old and I still have to use cortaid on it when it gets itchy and sweaty especially in the summer months. It helps a lot and usually clears up the redness within a few hours.

I was told to use peroxide on mine. Worked like a dream :)

E., do not put anything on your incision. Ask to your OB/Gyn. It may be an infection, sometimes is a mild infection and sometimes something deeper, and only your Ob/Gyn must tell you what to put in that area.
Take care

most likely the scar tissue healing. I had a csection almost 9 months ago and mine still itches like crazy. if there is no oozing, swellling or foul odor coming from the incision then your probably fine. if you are worried a call to your ob wouldn't hurt either

Im actually about to have my 3rd c section as well but i've never experienced that before. I knew someone whose scar got infected but I'm not sure how it started. I would call the doc asap to be sure. Good luck!
