I never had this, but my mom did. With the first 3 pregnancies, she was itchy on her hands and bottom of her feet. The last pregnancy, she was itchy all over the last couple of months. Back then they gave her drugs that they never give moms now. My sister had the same itchy hands and feet her 3rd pregnancy the last few months. Unfortunately, there was nothing her doctors did for her. At six weeks, I can't image facing an entire pregnancy with the itching--have you checked with your doctor?

We have something that is on my waterrose creation site that just might help. The lady that makes it for us has all sorts of allergies and breaks out with hives it helps her and her daughter that is pregnant uses it.
Just take a peak at my site. the creme comes in a kit and you make it up and put it in the refrigerator so it stays fresh.
Lady Athena has tryed everything for the winter itch also and this seems to help several different types of itching.
Hope it helps out.

you will find it under skin and lip care.

Soothing Anti-Itch Creme Kit [antiitch] $7.95

This kit includes all the necessary ingredients you need to make your very own in home anti itch creme. Tired of the hives? Can't stand the itching any more? Well you've come to the right place! This kit makes 8 oz of soothing anti-itch creme and comes with it's own instructions. We recommend you buy more than one if you have a wide spread problem.
Please note: It is best to use our NON-scented, NON-colored shampoo, conditioner and bath gel after using this product because many skin irritations are caused by fragrances and colors.

I also used cocoa butter on my stomach when I was pregnant and found out if I ate sugary products I tended to itch.
If you come up with a good solution let me know.

Hi,
In my first pregnancy I became very itchy early on, like you. In the morning I would be basically fine, then as the day went by I got these lesions like hives in the "hot spots" of my body. Like under my arms, on my neck, in the small of my back, in my inner thighs, behind my knees, etc. By the end of the day it was terrible! My OB didn't know what it was because it isn't uncommon to be ithcy during pregnancy. After many consults with varying doctors, I was diagnosed with PUPP. Look it up online if this sounds like you. There is no real cure for it unfortunately, except certain creams that are safe to take when you are pregnant. It went away about two months after the baby was born. It was hard...really hard! I found others online who had it and found comfort in getting their advice and support on discussion boards. I hope this isn't your fate, but if it is just know that it goes away and you are not alone. I think 1 in 1,000 people get it or something like that. Best of luck to you!
Debbie

Hi R.,

I had that happen during pregnancy as well. I can say now that mine was from candida. So, if you have a naturopath you could discuss symptoms and treatment for that. You can also do tests to see if it is in fact candida that is causing the itching. A great product we use is 3 Lac. You can google it to get more informtion. :)

Blessings,

K.S.

Normal!! Your skin gets itchy as it stretches. Slather on the lotion, maybe with vitamin E, and be patient! Each of my pregnancies (3) were different, itchiness was at different levels with each. Mj
