Well my 3 yr old has been potty trianing since sunday and she is NIGHT trained but NOT day trained how normal is that? She has 1-2 accidents/day mainly right by the potty or on the way there how do i get her trained at day? also she poos in the potty ALL the time has since sunday but having problems making it to pee in the potty still

ETA: we go every 30-45 minutes and normally pees and i dont limit her drinks, i dont think atleast, normally 30 minutes before bedtime she has to go potty and then about an hour after shes in bed she yells to potty

2: when she wakes u she goes potty, before we go outside to play she goes, about 45 minutes later she goes again and about 30 mintues after meals and 30 minutes before bed and usually 30-45 every other time

3: I dont think my expectations are high at all, shes proven she can go and make it there in time, i was just wondering how long it normally takes for them to "get" it

What can I do next?

Congrats!!!!!

I would just involve her in the 'clean up' - she has to get paper towels and wipe up the floor, change clothes, put the soiled clothes in the washer etc with a "that's ok. next time".

When she has accidents..... is it because she is so involved in something that she forgets she has to go until she REALLY has to go? It can help if you "remind her" by saying, "before you start to play with the play doh, please use the bathroom".

Just do lots of laundry and keep her in panties. Try to get her to the potty at regular intervals (for us it was after waking up, before bed/bath, after meals, before going out). Make the potty accessible. Put her in easy off clothes like stretchy pants vs jeans.

3 year olds get easily distracted.

I think your expectations are a bit much. Relax.. She is doing great! Just be supportive and encouraging. She will get there soon.

I'll echo what other people have said, it sounds like she is just too involved with playing to notice that she has to pee before it is too late. I would try some type of timer. Each time it goes off, she should try to go. If she does go, the timer gets reset to her normal interval, whereas if she doesn't need to go then, only set it for about another 15 minutes. She will quickly catch on.

The fact that she has come this far in such a short period of time is wonderful. You are obviously on the right track for her. Keep going, and I'm sure she'll be fully trained in no time.

perfectly normal. It isn't that she isn't going on the potty, she's just busy and isn't catching the signal early enough. She will get it, just give it a little more time. To have gotten this far in less than a week is AWESOME!

My son was the same way. Night training came first (he just did it himself, no need for official training) then he was poop trained in like, 2 days. Pee took a few weeks to perfect. You sound like you are doing the right thing. I would continue giving him a small gummy when he would make anything in the potty but if he would go three days with no pee accident, he would get a toy. Then it was 4 days, then 5, ect. It's just how her body works. Also, keep the potty in an accessible place like the kitchen or the living room (assuming you have tile or hardwood floors!)

You should be timing her from the last time she drank and then about 30 minutes or less later she goes on the pot. She may not really be able to know that tingly feeling you get when you have to go. You may also be limiting her liquid consumption so she may not have to go at night or does she get up at night and go?

I would say just monitor and supervise and encourage and she will be just fine. Also no pullups they keep them way too dry.
