Hello everyone!
Can anyone recommend a great rear facing infant car seat? After having ours inspected, we've decided it is better to replace it. I know it all depends on how it fits in your particular car (I have a 98 Honda Civic), but I'm wondering if you can recommend one that's easy to use and adjust. Thank you in advance!

So What Happened?

I just ordered the Graco Snug Ride from Target today. We considered the others that were suggested, but the Snug Ride was the most economical choice for us. I really appreciate all of your responses...you have helped us out tremendously. Now I have peace of mind. Thank you!

I think any graco seat is the best one for rear facing. I have 4 kids and they have all had their own graco seats and we have never had a problem.

We used the graco snugride for my second child and loved it. It was light and easy to use and adjust the straps and got great ratings.

We have recently purchased the Britax Roundabout due to it's reviews, both consumer and parent. It is amazing and we love it. Easy to install. Easy to use. It's practical since it can converted to a front-facing. And it was a little pricy ($219) but I think it was worth it.

If you are looking for a rear-facing seat only, I can recommend the Graco SnugRider Infant Car Seat. The only reason we have switched it because our daughter is very very tall. She still meets the weight and age requiremtn but it way too tall for it. We got the frame and stroller that go with it and it was so convenient. I wish she still fit so I wouldn't have to wake her to get out of her seat.

Good luck!

Hi T.,
i have a one year old and i purchased the graco infant safe seat before she was born. I needed a new seat for her because the one i had from my older children was more then 5 years old. I loved the safe seat and my daughter was in it for the whole first year. The seat is for use with a baby up to 32 inches and 30 lbs. My daughter still sits in it when we go out in my husbands car. You can look at the seat on the gracobaby website. Good luck with the purchase.

Hi, These are the best and safest car seats out there and they are the easiest to install and adjust. They are made by a company that makes race car seats. They are a bit pricey but well worth the money. After I bought this for my youngest we had to get one for our second. With these seats I actually feel like my kids are safe. Others I was not so sure. You can find them online either google, recaro rear facing car seat or here is a link to one site that sells them. But you could hunt around for the best price.
