Through the city of Chandler they have an indoor playtime at Tumbleweed Rec on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11am. It is $2 for Chandler residents and $3 for non-residents.

Bounce Jungle is really nice and it's $5 for two hours of play, includes a snack. I went there with my friend when I was visiting from out of state, I think there is one is Gibert.

Jump N Shout at Mesa Riverview(Dobson and the 202). It's $9 unlimited play, its a bunch of bounce houses and a huge playplace. I've found that if you go during the week it's not as busy and the wee little kids can play peacefully pretty much anywhere! Have fun!

Bounce Jungle in Chandler (www.bouncejungle.com ), Toy Town (http://www.aztoytown.com/Home_Page.html ), Tumble Tots at the Tumbleweed Recreation Center (IT's through Chandler Parks & Rec, but you don't sign up for a class -- just show up and pay $2 per kid), story time at many libraries (I love the Basha Library storytime), free Playgroups at the Family Resource Center (http://www.childcrisis.org/images/new/programscheduleBW.pdf ), and the list goes on. You can swim (I LOVE the Chandler pools, especially Basha High School pool called Mesquite Groves -- we head on over after story time at Basha Library), go to the Phoenix Zoo, which has 2 splash pads. The Phoenix Children's Museum is amazing and costs $9 each. It's not really a museum, but a hands-on exploration.

Most of the ideas I have I got my joining a local chapter of MOMS Club (www.momsclub.org It costs $23 a year). I really recommend it if you want ideas and have your child socialize with kids he sees regularly. We all contribute activities to the calendar and we do something 1 or 2 times a week. You come to what fits your schedule and your liking. I've really enjoyed my experience with MOMS Club, getting out with other moms I know and just the fun the kids and I always have. I arrange a lot of tours, which are much easier when you have a group. Good luck surviving the heat!
