Unfortunately, I don't have anything to offer you, but I do have a place you can check into and do the same thing you're doing here if you haven't already heard of it. Try going to Freecycle Network, it's kind of like an online Goodwill. You have to post what you need or watch the listings for what people offer in their posts and you can go pick it up. I have a baby stroller and clip in car seat that goes in the stroller it is a graco snap and go system. it is 8 years old it was my daughters. It is in excellent condition. I havent had any one to pass it down too. I do know that all these baby items go on recall thru out the years. There is a way you can get all this stuff for free. Go to yahoo groups and sign up for a freecycling group in your area. I belong to one in Litchfield county and I see lots of baby stuff offered all the time.

Hi M., I unfortunately don't have any items to offer as I'm expecting myself. You may find some things on craigslist.org for sale or free. The other place I thought of was Once upon a child, a consignment shop in Milford and Hamden. They have clean quality items for more than half off. Hope this helps.
