I have 4 Godparent gifts to get for my son's baptism. I am not sure what to get them or where to purchase them. Any ideas would be helpful!!

What can I do next?

Northwestern Book and Bible was going to be my suggestion. I found a great frame with a tribute to the Godparents written on it. Then, I was able to give them a picture of my son to put in it after the baptism. I agree with not spending too much. I know that they are probably not expecting anything. So, anything will be a thoughtful, apprecited gift.

Northwestern Bookstore in Harmar Mall has a lot of great gifts for baptisms. I did just little gifts, a lapel pin that was significant for baptism something along those lines. It was small but the godparents don't expect large extravagant gifts, they're doing this as an honor to your child and the fact that you want them to be your child's godparents is a gift! It's a big responsibility if you take what the job is seriously! It's also an awesome honor--one that doesn't need a huge gift. It supposed to be a day of fun and joy so don't spend too much time worrying about it! I'd go small and something that is special to the child/godparents. The picture/frame idea that was already mentioned is a great idea too!

Northwestern Bookstore has alot of things--there are a few locations (I think Edina and maybe Burnsville?). There are really cute plaques, frames, etc. There is also a Bloomington Drug (in Bloom) that sells alot of things of that nature.

I bought picture frames and then made sure to get a picture of the godparent w/my daughter - printed the pictures and sent them to the godparent to put in the frame. There are also some decent gifts at the Christian Bookstores.

Good luck!

how about engraved frames and a picture of your baby?? or take pictures of the baby with each (or with each couple) at the baptism and give to them with the frame at a later date.
