Ideas for Coordinating Halloween Costumes

I am looking for suggestions for coordinating Halloween costumes for my 1 and 3 year old daughters. Last year my then infant was a caterpillar and my then 2 year old was a butterfly. The best I could come up with so far was Little Bo Peep for my older daughter and a sheep for my younger. We don't watch television so they do not really know any characters. Also if you could give me ideas where to buy your suggested costumes since I plan on purchasing them and not making them. Thanks.

How about Pooh & Piglet? My sister and I went as this when we were little (3 years age difference) and we still have the pictures from it. Not sure where you could get them though, sorry - it was back in the day of homemade costumes.

Your 3 year old could be Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz & your baby could be a Munchkin, Toto, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion or Scarecrow. There are tons of places that sell Dorothy costumes & a lion costume is also easy to find. I would look on-line or at Party City.

Last year my then 9 month old & 3 yr old girls both went as white bunnies and it was about the cutest thing I've ever seen. (Of course, I realize I may be biased!) I got their costumes at Target but they also have pretty affordable & cute costumes at Old Navy.

Hi Jennifer:

Try www.buycostumes.com They have the most AMAZING selection and I am sure that it will give you some fantastic ideas for a theme. Also, Gymboree, Costco (Disney), and Old Navy do have really cute costumes.

I had my daughters dressed up as Tigger and Piglet and they (my girls ) are two years apart as well. I bought them from the Disney store. In fact, I think I may have both. This was two year ago when they were 1 & 3! If you would like for me to check on the sizes for you at home, I'd be happy to. Just e-mail me back.
