Hey everybody. I know there is some women that are on childcare assistance. I am currently recieving child care assistance, it's just one problem, i had the same daycare provider since my daughter was 5months old, now she is 17 months. But the thing is, there is some things that i have been noticing, when i go to the babysitter's house in the morning she is knocked out sleep, i wake her up when i knock on the door, then her 3 year old son is just terrible, he takes of his pants and underwear and runs around the house naked while my daughter is there, pulls out my daughter hair ties. When i pick her up she always looses my daughter's bottles, pacifier's. Check this out, this lady doesn't have any dogs, but yesterday i found a flea on my daughter, and i know it came from over there because she had 3 bite marks on her neck. Today she had another one on her hand. I don't know what to do because i don't have time to look for another babysitter, and i got my dad on my back. This lady has limited english, and sometimes i think she understands what i am saying but she really makes it look like she does and it gets on my nerves. Somebody please help me. Should I find another babysitter? My daughter is so used to them...

What can I do next?

you need a new care taker! if you have a little voice telling you things, thats becuz your child cant. i have had to switch sitters a couple times, and for the same reasons, didnt want to becuz my daughter knew them etc. but you shouldnt have to wake them up, and if she has a 3 yr old, is he sleeping too, or just wondering around.. also, i am a firm believer in trusting your gut... look around, you would be surprised at what you find when you start asking. and when i recently had to switch, i (not a really religious person) kept praying for exactly what i was looking for.. and i got that and more... so lots of ppl take those child assistance checks... and since you have another on the way, i would think you have double the reason... i know your life is full, and you feel like you dont have time.. but you dont have time not to... if something happened, you would never forgive yourself... i am not sure if you will understand this, but when my daughter was a little younger and i had to take something from her or whatever, and she cried.. i started to feel bad, but then i would think i would rather hear her cry now, then never hear her cry agian... trust your instincts, if you think its time, its time.

thats my penny.

I just wanted to let you all know about a super awesome nanny I know who is looking for a job. She needs full time but doesn't mind splitting up days with more than 1 family. Her name is Najat Benanssa. She was so great with my 2 kids. She's very motherly, they loved her. She took them outside to play every day, twice a day. She played with them, she sings songs, she is a fun, responsible and nurturing lady. Her references are impeccable too. If you need someone I hope you will give her a call, She is a rare find and anyone who gets her will be very lucky!

Here is her number: Najat Benansa ###-###-####

Get a new provider... and report the provider your daughter has now to the daycare police... I know its hard to move your daughter since she has been there for so long but its worth it to know that your daughter is safe (especially before your second comes). I know that if you talk to your worker they can send you a list of daycares in the area or you can probably get the list online. I went through several home day care providers for my two (there was always something wrong, not saying they are all bad) and I finally decided to go with a daycare center. The rules are more strict and there is always more than one adult around to supervise. Check it out!

Get out of there...I would love to take her myself...I was looking for a talking girl to interact with my daughter (I had to pull us out of the last daycare we worked at). (I watch two boys right now). But I'm in Springfield...and wouldn't be able to take the assistance program as I'm just a "babysitter." My daughter is such a girly-girl. I'm also going to have to take a short leave in April to deliver my next baby and didn't want to inconvenience any parent - will probably start looking after the baby is born for another. :) Good luck. ____@____.com.
