I'm looking for two days a week, usually from about 9 am to 5 pm at the most. Everywhere I look charges the same for two days as five! Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

It sounds like you're looking at just daycare facilities. Have you considered finding someone that does daycare in their home? That's what I did with my 9 month old. I searched by zip code on Child Care Resource and Referral, did some interviews with some people and found a great woman. She has been taking care of my daughter since she was 3 months old and does a great job. I work for CPS and am pretty cautious about who watches my child. Try that route if you haven't already.

Sunrise Daycare charges less for part-time. When I was looking, it was $101 for two full days a week. And I just loved them. The only reason we didn't go with them is that my work schedule changes so much and daycares don't handle changing schedules well! HTH!

have you tried www.craigslist.com under phoenix and then childcare. Lots of nannies and daycare providers advertise here when they have openings. But you have to do your own background checks and references! Or try www.azchildcare.org they fingerprint, cpr, background check and teach early childhood education to all providers on the site. Search for free by zipcode! Good Luck!

I don't know if there is a location by you but I take my daughter to "Kindercare" (she's 3) and they do have a 2 day rate. I'm not sure though about an infant at a large daycare though. Anyway, it's an option...

Hi,
I don't know if you've already found someone but I am available stay at home Mom. My name is H. and I just posted an ad on mamasource that I am interested in taking in 2 to 3 kids to babysit during the day/evening. I am very flexible Monday-Friday and I will babysit occasionally on evenings and weekends for dates/errands, etc. I charge $25.00/day and $100.00/week if full time. I am very fun and loving and I have a three year old son. We like to play in his sand box outside, go to the park that is very close to our home (short walking distance), do puzzles, games, crafts, cook and bake, color, paint, read, and do other fun things. I live in the 85208 Crismon/Southern area and I would love to meet you if you are interested. We live in a non-smoking non-pool home. I also have references you can call and you can also call the youth minister I have worked for (the past three years) at Christ the King Church. Thanks:) My email is ____@____.com
