I've never baked a ham. I just go to Honey Baked to get what I need.

However, my sister in law bakes ham a lot. She tells me she puts Coke on it when she bakes it. That supposedly gives it flavor.

I know this sounds crazy but I pour Dr. Pepper on my ham when I bake it. It really makes a great flavor! And I stick fresh cloves all over it. Good Luck! And Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi C.,

I just made this recipe for Easter - it was the easiest ham I have ever made and it was the best too.

Slow Cooker Ham

You need:
8 lb bone-in ham
2 c brown sugar

Spread about 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar onto the bottom of the slow cooker/crock pot. Place the ham flat side down into the slow cooker - you might have to trim it a little to make it fit. Use your hands to rub the remaining brown sugar onto the ham. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Easy and delicious!!

Good luck! C.

I'm not exactly sure how to cook it, but my grandmother makes the BEST brown sugar ham and serves it with pineapple. MMMMMMM. :)

I found this online for you:
Ingredients-
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup mustard
maple syrup
apple juice

1. Place ham in a baking dish (that has a cover) and smother with the mustard.
2. Next pat the brown sugar over the mustard until covered.
3. Then pour the maple syrup over the brown sugar and mustard until covered.
4. Pour 1 cup apple juice into bottom of pan and cover.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 1 1/2 hours.

Serve with sliced pineapple and a side dish of scalloped potatoes.
