I am looking for a cute saying or Theme for the teachers back to school luncheon. We are serving teriayki chicken and all kinds of fun salads. But I need to send out invitations and I don;t have a theme.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
K.

I like the idea of sticking with the Asian theme. What about using a Chinese symbol for "hope" or something that you can use with a quote?

You can decorate with Chinese lanterns, available at the Dollar Tree, that you've also decorated with the symbol. And you can print them on the invitations or whatever else. Put those little tea lights (with batteries) inside, and they will look so pretty!

One of my friends made me a stationery set that she designed with pencils made of chop sticks and Chinese symbols on the stationery. Maybe you could make some or order some from her and give them to the teachers.

Anyway, have fun! :)

It is kind of cheesy but I use to sale promotional products where cheesy rains. I know you can purchase little Chinese take out boxes from places like Hobby Lobby and fill them with little things and give them to each teacher. You could play off the words take out by something to the affect, “You deserve take out, for taking so much of yourself and putting them into our students.” Or something about helping ensure the fortunes of our kids (play on fortune cookies that you could fill the take out boxes with).
