Margarita night with a fiesta theme! Have fun! You could also do a Happy Birthday theme and have a cake and sing. You could also have everyone bring a gift of paper goods for the woman's shelter as a birthday "gift"

Similar to the Prom suggestion, my group had a Wedding Reception theme, and people brought in a picture from their wedding day (some people even brought in pictures from weddings with ex-husbands AND current husbands, it was all in good fun).

Homecoming theme: everyone wears something from their alma mater - high school, college, or grad.

You could pick another time period - 1920's, 1950's, 60's or 70's. You could also do Victorian Era or Roman Times.

Snow Day
Movie Character (either their favorite or select a specific movie)
Harry Potter
Star Wars
Construction Workers
Roller Derby
Sports (any uniform or choose baseball, football, basketball, etc)

Super heroes, sports night (favorite sports), favorite color (dress all in your favorite color), Disney character (again, come as your fav.), flashlight night (play by lantern light). Our bunco group doesn't do themes usually.I'm thinking of some Awana themes.

1950's/Rat Pack
1950/60's/Rockabilly
1940's/Casablanca
1970's/Hippy
1980's/Disco
1920's/Great Gatsby (especially with the new movie out now)
With all the emphasis on environmental awareness, etc. maybe a 'Homesteading or Survival' party: home-canned goods, first aid kits, reduce, reuse, recycle (no bottled water, food from the farmers market, etc.)
Hoe Down/Green Acres
Pirate party
Alice in Wonderland tea party
Downton Abbey

hope those give you some ideas.

Best,
