How to Present Pictures to My Husband?

Hey ladies! I just took boudoir pictures as a surprise for my husband. I really love the way they turned out but now I don't know how I want to give them to him. I don't really just want to frame one (not sure where I would put it if I did) or to give him the CD of images. Any fun and creative suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I've been wanting to do this for a long time but everytime I decide to start working out something happens...this last time for example I ended up pregnant so hopefully after this pregnancy I can get this done not 4 months after like you did unless I'm blessed with losing all my weight...lol But my idea has always been to make a calendar out of them.

Have some printed on a pair of boxers - then leave the rest on CD, as well as kodak.com and have them mailed to you!

I had mine turned into a hardback photo book. You can even put your pics on the front and back covers. It turned out great. Go to Blurb.com You did better than me, I couldnt keep the secret and showed him some proofs before the book arrived. He loved it and Im sure your husband will too!

I would put a collection of your favorites in a nice leather bound (masculine looking)photo album. That way you can have the images printed and not just sitting on some CD and you can keep the book in a accessible yet less public place.
I'd wrap it up and give it to him after a romantic dinner!
I'll bet he love it!!

When I did this for my husband, I put the CD into a laptop upstairs on our bed. It was his birthday, and I told him his present was upstairs. A note on the laptop said "play me." He LOVED it. It was a total surprise, but then private enough that everything was on the CD. Since then, he has chosen to do different things with the photos on his own and got to select his favorites.

I love the photo book idea! I did some for my hubby a few years ago and put them in a collage frame which is hanging next to his side of the bed. He likes them there since it's private yet they are still displayed. (It also give me motivation to get back in pre baby shape. haha) Of course, they're not naked or anything so I am not too embarrassed to see them myself. haha I also gave him one smaller wallet size one that he loves!

Men like dirty (not that your pics are) magazines so I second or third the idea of putting it in some type of binding like a book or magazine. That way he can get it out and flip through it any time he's in the mood :)

Print them and put them in different places where he'll see them J(mostly when you're not around): lunch box, car visor, bath towel, shaving kit, favorite book (if he reads), wrapped around the remote control, even under his plate at dinner or on top of a diaper (if he changes the baby), etc.

Be creative & have fun with it!

How about making him a sleep shirt with your pic on it? You can get photo shirts at Walmart and other places.

I'm a professional photographer and I typically design "pillow books" for my boudoir clients. I'm kinda of surprised any photographer would just give you a disc with out any direction or options for what to do with them. I've also had clients use some of the images (especially the ones with out her face) as artwork printed on gallery wrapped canvas and hung in the bedroom. I also sell these really pretty folios. They're pretty much small framed images in Japanese bookbound fabric that accordion fold and tie with a riboon. So you can unfold and display standing up, then fold up if you don't want them seen.

Snapfish.com is a really easy way to upload your pictures and make a really cool bound photo book. I made a wonderful book from my son's wedding pictures. It allows you to pick and place the photos exactly where you want them, and you won't have someone looking at your private pics over your shoulder at walmart or cvs photo machine. Remember that men are visual creatures and a cd won't get the "WOW!!" factor that printed photos will. He will have a custom book just for him with no pressure to display a framed print.

Print them out and turn them into a photo album just for him...then leave it lying with other things he reads or looks at. Or give it for Valentine's Day or Wedding Anniversary or his Birthday. Or perhaps slip it into his luggage if he takes buisness trips away from you.

He'll appreciate it no matter HOW you give it to him. LOL

I say congratulations and good for you! Hubbies love things like this.

For starters, I love the book ideas so I would do that in addition to....

I would email him one in the morning so he thinks about it all day...then have a great date night!

Follow up with teaser emails or the cd when he gets home. I also like shutterfly for sharing pictures....as in sharing with him.

Have fun with it and kudos to you.

My girlfriend framed a couple of hers and hung them in their closet, which would only work if you have a walk in. I definetly think you should have the pictures printed. It is more of a WOW factor than just handing him a cd. I like the ideas of the album/ scrapbook.

You could print out smaller versions of the pictures, and place them in secret places you know he would look eventually. Like, a book/magazine he reads, a video game he plays, a dvd/vhs he watches, in his wallet between his credit cards, behind his driver's license. In his sun visor so it falls out. In the glove box. In is clothes drawers, night stand, under his pillow. Just a few ideas.

First, I hope that these pictures aren't so risque that if they got out and were shown to your kids or your parents or could ever be used to blackmail you or make you really embarrassed.

Presuming they are not, you could put the CD pics on your computer, then transfer it to a memory disc, and use it in a digital frame as a slide show. Only your imagination can set it up, but you could slip away 30 minutes before bedtime to set up the frame on his nightstand and start the slide show. When you go to bed, you could go in the bathroom to dress in a similar fashion as he discovers you in the slideshow. After he's had a chance to see it, come on out (perhaps with a fancy drink like champagne and strawberries or ...) and see if he isn't in the mood for some ... closeness. (Keep possession of this yourself. Erase off computer. Control ownership of the CD and disc and don't leave it in the digital frame for an accidental viewing by a houseguest or relative.)

If you have a favorite that you want to frame, you could hang it on the wall in the closet behind his clothes and when he went to get dressed, it would surprise him!

I am a photographer and have done boudoir pics for others and I have also done soem for my husband. If I were you I would go to mypublisher.com upload the images and have a digital (coffee table style) book made. it is really easy to do and not to expensive but really nice quality. You could also go to mpix.com adn they have digital albums there as well as some paper back (but nice and cheaper) options there as well. You can also add text if you want. The benefit of a book is that he can take it into his room, with him on a trip, in his car etc. and not have to sit in front of the computer to look through them. Once you get your book/magazine either place it on his bed side table or in the middle of the bed with a ribbon tied on it. It is more fun (in my opinion) if he finds it as a surprise when you are not home. It will give him a chance to look at all of them really well ;-) with out worrying about being embarassed or akward in his response. After he has recomposed himself he will be anxiously be awaiting your arrival home! If you want to be there when he gets it, leave it where he can see it right as he walks in the door and be waiting in the bedroom with one of the outfits on that you wore in the pictures. Have fun with it!

I would hide them in places where he'd find them. Maybe one in his sock drawer. Maybe you put one in a lunch box (if you don't normally make a lunch or anything, maybe make one as a surprise one day. Maybe you put one on his car seat so he sees it in the morning when he leaves for work? You could always add little things with the pics. A "toy" or massage oils, a book, chocolates, etc etc. Good luck! :)
