Does anyone know any good reciepes for making your own bubbles? I just bought a large non-spill bubble container on clearance and wanted to try and make my own bubbles instead of buying some. Thank ladies!

What can I do next?

But... that would mean you'd probably have to buy glycerin. (It goes a long way) REally.... I am sure just a good dishsoap like Dawn, would work without it, though. I know you said you don't want to buy any ...... but it probably would be cheaper than using your dishsoap and buying glycerin. Dollar Tree has large bottles of it for that's right..... a buck! I think Target's dollar section has some too. But.... if you just don't want to go out and shop today, just try using dishsoap w/o the glycerin..... maybe it will still work.

Dish soap and water. Play around with the amount of soap until you are able to blow bubbles with the bubble wand.

i agree with joy I went to a bubble show, if you add glycerine it makes better bubbles...also they used all sorts of cool things to blow the bubbles with, rubber bands, tops of soda bottles, braclets..they even put it in a baby pool and used a hula hoop and clamp and pulled the bubbleo over the kids head....super fun he even used a straw, twizzlers, and made a cube one with those kennex blocks dipped in it...after the show my daughter and i had tons of fun experimenting at home

I JUST made my own bubbles last week! most recipes call for glycerin, but I found a recipe that did not. It worked pretty well, smelled good and lasted til this week (all used up!) I do have to say, the bubbles weren't as plentiful as store bought (maybe glycerin would help then?) But here it is (I only made 1/4 of it.)

11c water
4 c dishsoap
1 c corn syrup
