Hi J., I work with a lady who works with the same company I work with to earn additional income. She also owns and runs a gift shop. The bakery next to her had a bad problem with their plumbing system and for 3-days worked to get the odor out of the building. After she and her employees complained about the odor, she took a product we have called Solumel to the owner. The staff and company they hired to rid the building of the odor said, "Oh well, nothing we have tried has worked, so its worth a shot". They sprayed and within a few hours the odor was gone. Now the company and the owner of the building are wondering how to get this product. It is not on retail shelves and has to come directly from the company.

I also use this product as my spouse does not like the house after fish has been cooked. So I kinda spray to wet everything down just a little and there is no evidence of cooked fish if you go out and come back in.

If you want more information on this product, which is green and non-toxic, please feel free to email me at ____@____.com or call me at ###-###-####.

Good luck.

Try a microwave-safe container with white vinegar, but watch it that it doesn't come to a boil. Then without opening the oven, turn it off and just leave it in the microwave for a while. I can't remember how long we left this in, but it worked to get rid of our burned smell.

Hi J.,
Try putting a small bowl of vinegar inside your microwave for about an hour - should do the trick.

yeah - vinegar is the way to go.. and baking soda afterwards if need be. Don't use chemicals like windex in your microwave... then you'll just be cooking it with your food!!! EW! Poison! : ) I currently have maple syrup smell in mine due to my husband's new flavored oatmeal... ick! I hate that smell in the microwave!

Have you tried washing with vinegar? Then let a baking soda/water paste sit over night.
