It looks like I literally spilled coffee on my white sneakers. Maybe I did. They are so cute but totally unwearable because of the stains. What's the most effective way to clean white sneakers? Thanks !

They are made of white canvas.

What can I do next?

are they leather? Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works awesome on white sneakers. They also have cleaners in the shoe stores, that work great on keeping shoes white.

What are they made of?

I'd toss them in the washer with some Shout stain remover.

Next time, spray your shoes, with those shoe repellent sprays, to protect the shoe from stains.
It can be found, at shoe stores, Pay Less, drug stores etc.

I washed mine in the washing machine with oxyclean and was rather impressed with the results.

I've used SoftScrub (with bleach in it) and a toothbrush to scrub it in. Let it sit for a while, then rinse it. If that didn't work, I would put my Keds in the washer (gentle cycle) with some Wisk and a little bleach. Good luck!

Scrub them with detergent and a toothbrush. It's actually kind of fun. :)

When I was younger and loved keds I always used a scrub brush and laundry detergent to hand wash them. Stain remover like Oxyclean would help. You might have better luck getting the stain out and you could always machine wash after if you wanted.

I wash my daughters canvas shoes all the time. She has to wear white sneakers for PE. I lather them up with a bar of Fels Naptha, then drop them in the washer. They come out looking brand new!

magic eraser is worth a try or soak in oxy clean or use a bleach pen.

If they are canvas you can wash them with stain remover.. When you take them our of the wash, while they are still wet, use white shoe polish (the kind with the sponge on the tip) on them and then throw them in the dryer.. They will look brand new.

Most shoes I just toss in the wash.

For ones I don't... detergent + water + toothbrush.... or bleach + toothbrush.

For leather? Murpheys Oil Soap + rag + water.

I wash mine in the washing machine on warm or hot water with some bleach in it. If the stain is tough you can use a damp corner of a bar Lava soap and gently scrub it. You can rub a hole in it so be gentle.
