I know this depends on location but wondering what you pay for your infant to 1 year old for daycare?

What can I do next?

In the Minneapolis area, I paid $340/week for the infant room (6 weeks to 16 months) and I now pay $320 for the toddler room (16 months-36 months). It is a center, but definitely not the most expensive. I had one place quote me $2600/mo for an infant!

I'm in the Dallas area and I paid $220 per week while my daughter was in the infant program. It's down to $205 per week now that she moved up to the 1-2 year old room.

Infant to 1 year old is the most expensive. In home daycare are less expensive of course but daycare centers charge up to $1,500 per month.

We are an hour outside of NYC and the general rate here (until potty trained) is $210-$225 per week. It goes down after the child is potty trained.

I use a home daycare. My kiddos go 3 days a week. We pay $135 a week. My twins are 14months. If my kids were younger I think it would be $175 a week at the same provider.

I live right outside of Boston, and my daycare was $320/wk for an infant to 15 mos - 5 days a week. And that isn't even the most expensive! DD is in the toddler 1 room now and the cost is $290/wk.

Thanks for asking this question! Wow, and here I am complaining about my $160/wk... I imagine the cost of living is much higher in these bigger cities, too (and pay along with that), but ouch! I couldn't imagine paying $200-300 each week! Oh, and I think I'm moving my girl to an in-home center when she turns 3, which will be about $125/wk (and they do pre-school curriculum)!

My in-home sitter charges $200 for an infant, $150 for 2-5, and I'm not sure about 5 and older. If my kids went to a daycare center, it would have been more like $300 a week for an infant. Eeek!
