We don't smoke. We do not have pets. We do not anywhere but the kitchen. I have 2 new spots on my somewhat beige carpet. Any ideas to remove these stains. Thank you. J.

For spot removal, I use Zep from Home Depot. It's in an aerosol can and I love it.

We do have pets and I've managed to remove vomit as well as red wine.

I just finished using my Bissel Pro Heat in my family room. I love this machine and I use it about once every 3 months or sooner if needed.

My favorite carpet shampoo is Hoover 2x

This is going to sound insane, but there's this spray called "LA's Totally Awesome" It comes in a clear spray bottle with red writing. You can get it at WalMart, most larger grocery stores and even the One Dollar Store! Regardless where you get it, it's cheap and it's miraculous! This stuff is amazing! I've got beige carpets, and it's gotten out ground in mud, red Kool-Aid, tea, soda and other spots I have no idea what they are! It's also great on countertops, bathtubs, couches, windows,.. everything I've tried it on! I've even used it as a stain remover in clothes.

Of course, as with any cleanser, test it on a small area first.

Depends what the stain is.
I had an oil stain on my carpet off my husbands shoe.
Some Resolve cleaned it right up.

Windex or Glass Plus depending on what the stain may be...

I use Resolve Foaming carpet cleaner, not the regular Resolve. It got out pet stains, some that were old and it got out a mystery stain from our carpet that was there at least one month. I spray the foam on, and let it sit until you can no longer see it and then take a white cloth and scrub the carpet. Sometimes it took me two or three applications, but it got it out and didn't damage my carpet. My rug is a cream color shag type rug. I've also used it on my regular carpets and it worked great then too. It also doesn't get to wet so you don't have to wait long for the rug to be completely dry.

First step, except that in spite of your rules and lack of pets the stain happened. After that you have a chance of figuring out what caused them. When you figure that out it should be easy to figure out how to get them out.

I use a Norwex cloth that gets stains right out of fabric. It's amazing!
