What's it made of? I have heard hairspray for cloth, rubbing alcohol. If the material allows--try a magic Eraser.

Ball point pen will come off of fabric if you spray some hair spray on it and then dab with a damp cloth.
I learned this from a friend who worked as a seamstress in the alterations department of a high end store. Those women had a trick for everything.
P.S., the cheaper the hair spray the better. Grab a can of aqua net.

Hand sanitizer will remove ink, but unfortunately in some cases it will remove the finish as well. I have used it to remove Sharpie from an enamel finished white tabletop without damaging the table.

Mr. Clean Magic eraser is awesome at taking ink off of stufff. My daughter colored with a sharpie on my bathroom cabinet and it came right off. I've only had a couple of things that it couldn't remove.

I've also purchased the store brand and they work great too.
