How do I enter my baby if I am only four months along? I thought I would get daily e-mails about how the baby is growing inside and some pictures of what it might look like at different stages? And how do I do that?

Another good pregnancy website is www.whattoexpect.com. It has a kind of baby calendar, but the babycenter one I think is better. But the What To Expect website has a lot of really good information along with calendars and updates.

Hey T.! How exciting!

You might check out babycenter, but I don't think they do a daily pic.

A book I LOVED with all 3 of my pregnancies was "The Pregnancy Journal" by A. Christine Harris. She goes day-by-day and tells you what is happening on a cellular and developmental level with your baby. I loved knowing when my babies got eyelashes, what their brains were doing, etc. No pics, but still pretty amazing.

I am enclosing the link to it on Amazon:

??? I'm not sure what you were trying to do, but if you enter a profile on www.babycenter.com you will get emails and also a pregnancy calendar that will show "milestones" and such for your baby in utero and after the baby is born. Does that help?

I have found that babycenter.com is a very resourceful site in sending you updates once a week on the growth of your baby and changes that are happening to you. You just have to sign up and you are on your way.

A little about me:
I am a mom due any day with my second. and have a wonderful 2 1/2 years old son.

Congrats on your pregnancy.. It was a wonderful experience for me (after the first couple months). I used both ivillage and babycenter. They sent weekly e-mails with progress and what you can expect and what stage of development your baby "may" be at... All you need to do is enter your due date and then the e-mails you receive are based on that date. Also, if you need to change your due date (based on dr visits) you can do that as well and then the e-mails adjust.

Also, I don't know about on ivillage but I know on babycenter.com, you can kinda do like you are doing on mamasource, put questions out there and get responses.

Congratulations! If you go to babycenter.com you can enter in your due date and sign up for weekly letters talking about changes in your babies life and yours. There is also a place where you can click to see what your baby looks like that week. I am 38 weeks along today and have been getting the emails since I found out I have been pregnant. Its been really fun for me!

This is what I used when I was a surrogate mom for my sister and brother-in-law. It goes week by week and is very accurate. Just click on the week and it will give you the full update. Enjoy. K. http://pregnancy.about.com/od/yourbaby/a/pregcalendar.htm

I also utilized babycenter.com. Also, I bought the neatest calendar at Motherhood. I can't remember what it is called (I think simply the Pregnacy Calendar). I shows pictures of the growth of your baby and I used it as a mini diary. I loved having it during my first pregnancy and now I have the neatest keepsake. I've bought it as a gift for all my friends when they find out they are pregnant. Congratulations!

Go to BabyCenter.com. That's where I get my updates. I get them once a week and it includes a pic of what the baby may look like, what it is doing and what my body may be doing. It's really cool. Hope this helps.

Congrats!!! I've found places where you can see pics of weekly developments, babycenter.com & pregnancyweekly.com. They also send a weekly email to you about what to expect, etc.
I got a book called "I'm Pregnant" and thought it was great! I'll be having my 2nd in May and I am searching through boxes to find that book :)
It has a lot of info about week by week development. My husband & I both got into reading it.
Enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can!

Try going to ivillage.com. They have great photos of your babies growth week to week. I did it for my last baby and it was really neat to see and read what the baby was doing!

I think the bible for pregnancy is "What to expect when you're expecting". I'm sure you already have it but I lived by that book. Good Luck!

Your physician may have books with pictures for you. You can also google subjects like "growth of fetus" etc... I am not sure about daily picture but I was able to view monthly pix of what my infant may look like. The important thing right now is you. Please take the time to focus on pampering yourself because as soon as the baby does arrive it is harder to spend that time on yourself. I was given a book by my physician called "What to Expect When you are Expecting" This is a wonderful and very helpful book. I also very strongly recommend taking the classes that are offered to you.

Both times I was pregnant I had daily updates from pregnancyweekly.com. It is very cool and helpful. They have groups on there that I actually still keep in contact with some of the moms! We all were pregnant and there was six of us that had babies within weeks and days of each other.
It is free, you sign up, give your due date and stuff.
Congrats, it is a very exciting time!! Don't let yourself get too worried over stuff as I know with my first I was a worry wart on everything! :) I did the one through baby center too! What to Expect when you are expecting is a fabulous book too!
