My husband said to try Windex. The cleaners where he works recommend it as a great product for carpet as well as glass.

I use Shaklee Nature Bright. It's nontoxic and works better than oxiclean or spot removers. If you have 2 little girls, please don't use toxic cleaners anywhere they will come in contact with. If you are interested, email me and I can get you more info on protecting your children from harmful toxins in cleaning supplies. You shouldn't have to sacrifice cleaning power for safety, or vice versa. You CAN have both! Check this video out too, it makes you think! http://www.theglobalsuccessteam.net/resources/wmv/toxic_B...

Avoid "Oxy clean" and "spot shot" They contain harmful chemicals. If your children spend as much time on the carpet as ours do... It adds up.

Same thing happened to my friend's new carpet! "Spot shot" works great! Should be able to find it at Home Depot/Lowe's/Menard's or other places. Just spray, let it sit as the directions say - for a short time, and blot with a white/light towel. She had to do it a couple times but spot lifted. Good luck.

There ia a wonderful product at Walmart called goo-gone. Costs no more than 4 dollars. My 3 year old drew on our white carpet with candy apple red lipstick and it got it out without leaving a stain. It advertises itself for removing paint, ink etc... You will find it in the paint department not cleaning supplies

have you tried oxyclean yet? I don't know if it would work on your stain, but it got dry earase marker out of our clothes. Just make a paste with the oxyclean powder and a little water and let it sit on the stain. It's not as harsh as some of the spot cleaners. Good luck!
