Do you prefer hot hot HOT weather or freeeeeezing cold weather?

Because it's about 90 degrees outside and I'm LOVING IT!!!!!!!

I don't mind being sweaty or stinky, EVERYONE is sweaty and stinky when it's this hot, and if you say you're not, you're a liar ;) I think even 75 is cool weather. YAY SUMMER!!

What can I do next?

HOT HOT HOT!!! It's 48 degrees where I am right now and the normal high for this time of year is around 70 degrees, so I am very jealous that you are in 90 degree weather! It feels more like fall than summer here. Enjoy that sunshine and heat for me, too!

I'm in AZ and it will be 98 today and 100 tomorrow. Anything over 105 is a little too hot, but I am excited to start using the pool again. I prefer to be warm rather than cold, although when it's still 100 in October, it starts to get a little old.

Are you bragging? ;) It's in the 50s where I live, and I'm freezing! LOL We haven't had warm weather yet, except for a few days mixed in. I am ready for hot hot HOT weather, although we really don't get hot weather. We can get into the lower 90s, but mostly 80s. We don't even have air conditioning in our house! We have a heater, 2 fireplaces, and a pellet stove though! I do prefer warm weather, I have to say. But, I like where I live for a whole host of other reasons. I'm trying not to be jealous of your HOT temps!!

If I have to pick and extreme, it is hot over cold.

I live in the deep south so I think I pick hot because I am more used to it.

We don't get much extreme cold.

It hit 100 here yesterday ( just outside San Antonio TX). TOO HOT! I would prefer it to be about 85 sunny with a slight breeze all year long. It can get pretty cold here to in the winter. Maybe I should convince DH to move to an island somewhere:)

Hands down, hot.

Right now where I live, it is 57 degrees. And overcast.

When it's sunny here, people walk around like they are stoned. I'm not kidding, you have to be careful driving because we are all so dazed and happy that we become careless on the road.

WHAT I would do to roast my brains on some sunshine.

My husband is exactly opposite. When we visit my dad in the tropics, I am with the kids at the beach all day, everyday. I don't get bored of sitting, swimming and playing in the sand. It. Is. My. Favorite. I love to sweat. I love to melt.

I'll say, "Let's go down to the beach today". He says, "I'll stay here with your Dad." I say, "Okay, Grinchy-poo". He says, "What, I work on the beach. I'd rather read and sit in the shade." I say, "That is crazy talk. We will sit in the shade at the beach." He says, "I don't want to get sandy. I'm tired of it." I say, "You work on a cold, grey beach. It is made from MUD and rock (We have Budd Bay and Mud Bay. This is not a joke). This beach, is not the same as the type you work on. Have you noticed, the flowers and DOLPHINS? It's December and there are flowers and oranges and avocados in the BACKYARD. The sand here, does not stink of anaerobic bacteria. One can sit without six sweaters, on this beach. Were you aware of this when you made that statement?"

He says, "Whatever, it's TOO hot."

Weather preferences are something that we do not have in common.

I despise snow. I am never so miserable as when I am cold (the kind of cold that takes days to thaw). So, I guess that makes me a crazy talker to many ;-)

I hate any temperature that's extreme. I love the few weeks a year where we don't have to use the heat or air-conditioning and it's perfectly comfortable to leave the house in jeans and a t-shirt without getting sweaty or need a jacket. I can't stand parking my car in a grocery store parking lot, then coming out 20minutes later and it's a sauna in there. I hate that even more than feeling freezing (at least then you can put more clothes on). So I guess if I *had* to choose, it would be freeeeezing cold weather over hot hot HOT weather.

I like upper 60's or lower 70's. Much rather be cool/cold and be able to add layers. When it is hot there are only so many layers you can take off... but in winter you can keep piling it on. Plus you can "snuggle" and not be all hot and sweaty with your SO.

Cold. Grew up in Chicago and currently live in Texas and no matter what anyone says you NEVER get used to the heat. You can't do anything in the heat w/kids or else everyone ends up in a heat stroke. I remember as a kid bundling up and playing outside in the cold. Even if it was a blizzard we could still bundle up inside. AND you get snow days.

I'll take hot over cold any day.

It is 43 degrees outside. Right now. May 26th.

Um sorry, that is unacceptable in my book - Mother Nature, you listening to me? /shakes fist

The heat has never turned my evening commute into a 5 hour trek because traffic crawled to less than 5 miles per hour. But, the cold brings snow which is pretty for one day but then gets dirty and depressing.

I prefer EITHER!!! :D :D :D

Above 90 (110-120 is fantastic... your sweat evaporates before it hits your skin so you're never sweaty/sticky although you have to drink a LOT in that kind of heat) but 90-105 is also great.

OR

Below Freezing. 25 down to about -10. I haven't been past that, so I can't say for sure how I'd feel about lower.

The weather I hate the most? 35-75. Where do I live? Seattle. Where it's typically 40-60 and raining. Yeah. Brilliant move on my part :P

COLD COLD COLD...can always put more clothes on..but we can all only get so naked before its uncomfortable for all concerned!

I live in MN so we get both extremes..except our heat is also humid as hell most of the time. I have never had that "dry heat" I hear jokingly referred to.

But I prefer winter as an avid Mountain snowmobiler...everyone heads to beach locations for February vacations, and we go to where there is MORE snow! LOL

60* temps are nice when we get a few of those in the early spring and later fall..otherwise the central air is on 24/7. Between stinky uncomfortable sweat...horrid pollen allergies (grass, trees..ugh) and a daughter who is allergic to the sun (PMLE)...cold and snowy is better for us!

I'm happy with 65-85 and no humidity :). Living near DC that's SO rare! Maybe a total of 14 days throughout the year. I'm bigger, but I really don't mind the heat as much as I used to. I don't love it super hot or super cold though. I'm a spring and fall lady...which I suspect most people are!

We've got it around 72 with the AC off and it's 90 something outside, but I've still got goose bumps. I was perfectly happy at the Grand Canyon and in Las Vegas until I went to the pool (the water was freezing).

I guess I have problems retaining heat and it doesn't help that the cold goes straight through me since I'm thin. Everyone complains that my hands are like ice even in the middle of summer.

Neither. In NE all we do is complain about the weather. It's too cold all winter, too hot & humid all summer and then spring and fall are either unseasonably warm/cool/rainy and on good days, we are all happy but complaining that it won't last. I am very much at home here lol. 75 and sunny is ideal for me (which we get maybe 10 days a year). Anything over 90 is unbearably hot and anything under 30 is miserably cold.
