Homeopathic Doctor for Infant with Severe Eczema

Hi, I am looking for a homeopathic doctor who is willing to see my 4 month old little boy. Our doctor is too anxious to just prescribe steroids to "see" if it helps. I am convinced that since he is solely breast fed that it is something I am eating. Can anyone suggest a doctor in the area? Or any advise with similar problems? I appreciate your time in responding.

What can I do next?

Dr. Laura Weeshoff at Life Sculpting in Chandler is an excellent homeopathic doctor who sees children and would definitely offer alternatives to steroids for your little one.
I believe she even has weekend and evening appointments. Her phone number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!

You might want to go to a GI doc. I know that sounds weird, but my 8 month old has esonophilic proctightis and my nephew has esonophilic esphagitis. I was lucky because my son presented early, but my nephew will never outgrow his food allergies, he had the worst eczema, do to an intolerance to milk protein. I'm currently on the elimination diet for my son until he's a year old. No dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, nuts or fish. So there's not much left to eat. You might want to get it checked out or start elimating some of these items and see if it helps his eczema.

Hi S.. I can totally understand your dilemma as I have been there myself. I have four boys and my youngest got eczema at 2 months old. It went away for a bit, but when he turned ten months old it was quite severe. I had seen a homeopathic doc with my first son for his asthma and allergies and although I loved him we did not see the results I was hoping for. He also suffered with eczema, as it is closely tied to respiratory issues. Anyway, we found a product 4 1/2 years ago that changed our family's life. My oldest son has been symptom free and medication free for both his asthma and allergies since starting the product 4 1/2 years ago and we were able to clear up my youngest sons eczema and keep it under control for the past 3 years. I have never had to use steroids and I count my blessings for that. If you want to know what we did give me a call or email me, I would love to share. Good luck and hang in there.

Hi,
We took our now 15 month old boy to the naturopathic doctor at about 6 months for eczema and constipation. The doctor's name is Matthew Baral located in south Scottsdale - I would recommend him as he specializes in pediactrics. ###-###-####

Hello, S.,
My nephew has severe allergies and had horrible eczema. My sister went to all sorts of doctors and her son was prescribed all sorts of ointments, medications, and creams. Nothing seemed to work. Out of desperation, my sister went on the internet to see if there was any other product that might help. She found a wonderful company that makes hundreds of products that are natural, safe for your family and safe for the environment. Within just a few days of using a lotion from this company, my nephew's skin showed much improvement. The pediatrician was amazed at how well it works and the dermatologist said to continue using it. After seeing the positive results, I started buying the products for my home and we have all noticed a big difference in our skin. If you would like more information, I would be more than happy to tell you all about it. I know it's helped my nephew and I'm sure it will help your son as well. You can contact me at ____@____.com. I'm sure you'll get lots of responses to your question and I hope you're able to find some help. Take care and good luck.

It most likely is something you are eating, best bet is cow's milk. Alot of times if babies are having a reaction to cow's milk they will also have one to soy. It is actually the protein in the milk that they cannot break down. Goat's milk is an option for you. Goat cheese and yogurt. Good stuff. The research out about how well your body responds to goat's milk is amazing. Both my boys got eczema when they were breastfed. My oldest is 4 and he still gets it. One other thing that was SO HELPFUL for both kids and easy t do is switching your laundry products to perfume free and dye free. DO NOT use dryer sheets, they have a high level of perfumes and formaldehyde. All lotions should be scent free also. Secondly, eliminate chemical cleaning products from your home because it breaks down the immune system and can also cause skin disorders as well as many other things. I have found a company that I shop with that is amazing and offers all of these types of products. It s one stop shop. here is a website www.saferforyourhome.com. Feel free to call or email if you have any questions. I have been in your place twice.

My 2 year old has been seeing Dr. Baral for a few months now. He is really good with children. the first thing he will do is probably put your little one on a good probiotic. I do warn you that if you do not see him on a student shift that it could cost you an arm and a leg. SCNM ###-###-####

I have a 15 mo with mild eczema that began when I stopped breastfeeding. We figured out it was cows milk in formula so we went to soy based Enfamil (liquid gold-we called it) but when she turned 1 yo we gave her soy milk for a while and now she drinks goat's milk but she's almost done with bottles anyway. A friend told me about a soap called "so soft" from New Mexico that you can use with or without water made from lanolin, but I have yet to order it. If she has dry, scaly, itchy skin we treat it with oatmeal baths for comfort and "Aveeno" lotion softens her skin right up. Again, she has a mild case and seems controllable now.

S.,
My 6 month old also has severe eczema. I have been able to control it with Cetaphil and Eucerin creams (not the lotion). When he has a bad break out I use Aquaphor and that helps to ease the itch for him.

It is very disturbing to have your child covered in a rash, and I thought it might be something I was eating as well when I was breastfeeding, but he is now on formula and still dealing with the same condition. I just have to daily put the cream on him and we have made it a fun game that he laughs through each day.

I don't know of a homeopathic doctor but I do know of something that will help him! I work with an International Wellness Company that manufactures products naturally, no harsh chemicals and I have many teammates that have had eczema or their kids have and after just switching to safer products it has all but gone away!
