THe Guenther House at 205 E Guenther downtown, very nice, and around the corner is Madhatters Tea House. Both are great places for showers, and are centrally located.

I was thrown a shower (baby and bridal) at Apple Annie's off Bitters road. It's in Artisan's Ally and a really cute little place. They gave us our own room and we were able to do all the party games and such as well.

Luciano's that way spouses can come and watch sports on the tv. Kids seem to enjoy it too. And there's an outdoor eating area if the weather is nice.

Grady's BBQ on Bandera Road has a party house. One of my friends had her baby shower there and it was really nice. I have also been to the Spaghetti Warehouse for a shower. Alot of restaurants have "party rooms." Congratulations and best wishes!

I suggest taking a trip out to Bracken Village. There is a cute little English tearoom as well as a baby boutique called Cradle Couture. They host baby showers so you can ask them about it. There are a few other really cute shops too. Even if you end up not wanting to use the tearoom or the baby shop, it's a trip well spent because the area is absolutely charming. While you are there, pick up a pair of the Mooshu trainers for your new little one. My daughter has three pairs and LOVES them and I always know where she is because they squeak when she walks. The website is: http://www.brackenvillagesa.com/ If you want a more traditional spot, La Madeline has a private party room.

I agree with the Summer. I had my bridal shower at Bin 555 at Artisian's Alley. My baby shower was at Apple Annies, it was great.
