Since my name is J. that is my suggestion!!!
In 41 years on this earth I have only met 1 other Johna and her name is spelled differently.

Well I am partial to J.. =) LOL How about Jo, Johnna, Jolene, Jonie (pronounced like johnny), Josie, Joss, Juliet, or Jessy/Jessie, Jessalyn. All of my siblings and my father all have J names. In fact we all have the same initials. Good Luck! and Congrats!

We are also a J family. My name is J. and you really don't come across that much; I like that. My husband is Jody and we have a Jackson and a James. I am expecting my 3rd and praying for a girl! Howabout Johnna or Jonna? You could spell it either way, but it would be pronounced JON-uh, so the first part sounds like Johnny, and you have the last sound like J.. I've actually known a Johna or two, so it wouldn't be that unusual for other people to pronounce or recognize.

With our oldest daughter we wanted to name her for my husband's grandfather who was Giovanni (which is John in Italian). We used a baby name book and discovered her name - Gianna. It can also be spelled with a J. Joanna and Jane are also female versions of John. Congrats!

I love Jenna. I also really like Jill. I know that Jill is sort of plain but it's just a nice name for a little girl or an adult.
