Hello. I am in the process of trying to orginize my daughters Baptismal. At first, I decided that I did not want a "theme" just the pink and chocolate colors, but I cant seem to find anything that even closely resembles a Baptismal celebration. I tought about having fresh roses as centerpieces, pink and chocolate tablecloths and balloons, but for some reason it doesnt fit right. Does it? Anywho, I already have the caterer and It will be in my back yard. Does anyone think this will work or how can I make it relate to my daughters Baptismal? Help!

What can I do next?

I LOVE those colors together and think it would look very classy. I make custom photo announcements for births, baptisms, etc if you're interested...I do LOTS of stuff with those colors together too. Let me know how it turns out.

I think it sounds great. I'd make/ get some crosses to add to table. for Crosses: paint wooden crosses (craft section/VBS supplies); look at Hobby Lobby for ceramic/metal crosses. Any silver, white/cream ceramic (for your food table) or dark metal crosses would look great with your color scheme. There's a place on Harry Hines that has metal (shiny "silver") crosses of all sizes for pretty reasonable. If you want directions--email me back....

If you're having tables for eating/seating use smaller (something/not breakable- metal) crosses on those tables--

that will tie it all together after all Baptismal is religious...so use the crosses all over.

hang in there mom, sorry to hear about your loss. Susan
