HELP!! My OB/GYN Is Leaving Me...

I have been seeing Dr. Rebecca Collins for the past 4 1/2 years...she's fantastic (she delivered my 3 1/2 year-old and my 4 week-old)! She practices in Lewisville and Flower Mound. You can find her at North Texas OB/GYN Associates: ###-###-####.

I usually hesitate to recommend doctors because everyone has their own tastes, but there's no way I couldn't pass along the name of my OB/GYN, Dr. Julia Flowers. She delivered both my children and I adore her. She has an office at Baylor Grapevine (practically like a B&B to deliver at) and she always delivers her own babies even if she's not the one from the practice on call. That was a huge plus. She has the bedside manner that makes you feel that you're the only patient she has. Of course the downside is the wait is usually about 30 minutes past appointment time. But all the office staff is very friendly as well. The number is ###-###-####. Oh, and she's also got young kids of her own -- she just got back from maternity leave from her TWINS when I started seeing her for my 3 1/2 year old and then she also has a baby boy probably around 20 months or so. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

there are several great ladies over here in Grapevine. I have worked with many of them and they all are exceptional. In separate practice is Dr Moser and Dr Flowers and Dr Robert. The last 2 partner with males but see thier own Gyn patients exclusively. Dr Moser is in private practice.

There is also an all female group, Womens Integrated Healthcare that have several wonderful Dr's. Dr Coulter Smith heads this group but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Your style of learning and communication will dictate who you will feel most comfortable with. If you will email me of group and share what you are looking for I will be happy to give you some more refined referals.

Dr. Julia Flowers at Baylor Grapevine

I really like my OB, although he is male. I used to go to a female and really thought I wanted/needed one, but he is SO much better than my female OB ever was. And it's not at all uncomfortable for me to see him. He's conservative, so he doesn't take risks with me when pregnant. He's very calming, very nice, and I've never had a bad experience with him. His name is Dr. Robert Wai andhe's at Baylor Grapevine. Don't discount him just because he's a man!

I highly recommend Dr. Ashley So. I have been seeing her for 5 yrs and have no complaints. She is with Tiena Health at Las Colinas Medical Center. Her number is ###-###-####. She is very laid back and extremly easy to talk to. She is also our family doctor.

Dr. Paroski at Flower Mound Women's Health. I cannot say enough good things about her! My baby is 5 wks old and with how my delivery was going, one of the labor and delivery nurses told me that none of the other doctors would have stuck with my delivery plan...she decided to give me 15-20 more minutes before we made a decision on a C section and I ended up not needing one (thank goodness). I've been going to her for 4 years.

i just went to a new ob yesterday in flower mound. we have 2 girls and are considering having another child next year. her name is dr. sylvie paroski. she's at flower mound woman's health. the website is www.fmwomenshealth.com the phone# ###-###-####. she did a great consult, she really took her time and when she did my yearly she was lightning fast and super gentle! i didn't even feel it!!! she's very conservative too. i told her my history of preclampsia or toxemia after i had my 1st daughter and then my second daughter i had preterm labor and she was born 5wks preemie so she told me if i had another child and she would be overly conservative because she'd rather be safe than sorry! i agree!!! she's also a christian if that makes any difference to you. you should try her! she's awesome!!

I second Women's Integrated Health. My doc is Dr. Allen. She is great and delivered both of my boys. I've met all of the other doctors and they are great too. Can't go wrong at WIH!

Dr. Rebecca Collins with North Texas OB/GYN in Lewisville. They have an office off of Main by the Hospital and one in Flower Mound by Lifetime Fitness. She is wonderful. I have been using her for several years.

Can't stand female OB/Gyns but if you are really looking for a great doctor...Dr. Thomas Fliedner is the best I have ever seen. I used to think that only female doctors would provide good care, but I have never had a good female doctor. As a nurse, myself, I must say that you are limiting yourself by only looking for a female. Just because they are women doesn't mean they are kind and understanding or even a good doctor. I am also a diabetic and wouldn't only see a doctor who was also a diabetic just becausE I thought they would be more understanding. His office number is ###-###-####.
