I am 33 yrs old and have been married for the last five yrs. I have this itch before marriage bt now its getting worse. I have itch on the mouth of my vagina and on the inner lips and outer side of vagina. I have a 3 yrs old daughter. Thinking of second child but fear that this itch will affect my pregnancy. I also have itch on my eyelids close to the nose. Earlier this itch was only on my right eyelid and for the last one month it has started on the left eyelid also. It puffs when i wake up in the morning and see my eyes in the mirror. I dont like to see it. I applied so many medicines for both kind of itches. The itch on the mouth of my vagina irritates more after intercourse and sometimes i feel swelling the next day of intercourse. I had only one partner and thats my husband and surprisingly he was not affected by this itch until last month. I was using cortizone-10 earlier but changed to vagisil after the itch worsened but it looks vagisil is not working anymore. For my eyelids am using lanacane and this one is also not working. I know i should go to a doctor instead of posting a message here but for that i also want to know should i go to a gyno or should i go to a regular doctor. I live on N 31st ave and Yorkshire drive(north Phoenix). Any good doctor nearby? or any other medicine that i can use. Have anyone experienced such kind of itch? Please share your thoughts with me. Thanks!
After reading the responses i want to add that last year in these days i got tested negative for yeast infection. So am pretty much sure its not yeast, its bacterial infection.

What can I do next?

Sounds like candida (yeast). Go to the doc because I'm NOT a doc and I could be wrong. There is an oral pill remedy to help the whole system get rid of yeast.

Cut out the sweets, breads, & carbs for awhile, too. The sugars are feeding the yeast. Add PRObiotics to your diet through yogurt or suppliments. I like the brand PB8 as it has many different strains and no dairy (which can sometimes feed yeast or affect people with allergies).
Good Luck,
B.

The vaginal itching sounds like it could be a mild yeast infection. I've had yeast infections where the only symptoms were itchiness and irritation but no discharge. (http://www.cdc.gov/nczved/dfbmd/disease_listing/candidias.... You could try an at home test kit to see if it's yeast or something else. Vagisil makes them and you can buy them at Walgreen's or the grocery store (http://www.vagisilkit.com/kit2/index.shtml). They're a little pricey though, like $10 per test. The irritation after sex could be an allergic reaction to latex if you're using condoms or maybe you're allergic to your body soap or bubble bath. I'm not sure about the eyelid itching and swelling-- could be seasonal allergies. Maybe try Claritin or Zyrtec to see if it helps.

I would recommend you see a doctor for both issues. A gyno would probably be more helpful with your feminine itching but they would not likely treat your eyelid swelling and might tell you to see a general practitioner. I like Desert West OB/GYN on 59th Ave & Union Hills. Dr. Nina Wilkey is great. My primary care office is Deer Valley Medical at 43rd Ave & Union Hills. I see Dr. Helen Zhao but they have several other good doctors as well. Good luck! :)

I'm not a dr at all but it sounds like an allergy to me since you have had some form of this itch for so long. Dr morgan in scottsdale is suppose to be the best.

baking soda baths will help calm down the itch
do NOT sugar it changes the pH in your system and will feed the bacteria
eat green as possible and drink lots of water

have your allergies tested....you could be allergic to wheat. that is a huge symptom

I am no dr, just a health nut...
plus become a label reader...use products that are good for you
