So What Happened?

Thank you all for your posts. I appreciate all the information and suggestions. I am going to go ahead and try this cleanse out. They have a money back policy, if your not completely happy--so I think it is worth the try. I have truly been miserable in the digestive area of my body and am really wanting to see if this will help. I'll keep y'all posted. Thanks again!

I didn't make it the 2-3 months b/c after about 3wks. I was extremely bloated and uncomfortable. I did notice some results but nothing like the testimonials describe. A couple of friends did it the same time as I did, one had a similar experience to mine and another had a more positive experience with it. Who knows?! Maybe it just depends on each individual's digestive system.

Hi C.! Hope all is well. The 2 cleanses you mentioned are good, however, they only target 1 area - the colon. I've tried various types of cleanse and the one I've found to help me the most is the Isagenix program. I've been using the products for 2 years and have had great results. What I like best it's that the product are all natural, organic and water soluble, and best of all, it's a complete body cleanse - from head to toe, cleasing all 60 trillion cells in your body. If you like to read more about it and review it for yourself, please visit my website - www.dst.isagenix.com, email me at ____@____.com or call me at ###-###-####. Take care and much success!!

I frequently do this cleanse, just remember to drink a lot of water. Although the instructions do not indication the need to change your dietary intake, I strongly encourage you to consider eating organic fruits and vegetables and limiting your intake of meats. It will help.

Hi C.,

From what I've heard from many nutritionists, a colon cleanse is not something you want to mess with unless instructed by a health care professional. Increasing your intake of fruits and veggies will do the job for you and in a non-threatening way for your health. If you're not that fond of eating the 7-13 recommended servings every day, you can get them in a capsule like I do! Easy, safe and effective...

Take care,

OK, I am starting my second month on the Colonix, so I guess I can't answer about the full 90 days, but I can say that so far, I absolutely love it! I am a pretty healthy mother of one 20-month-old, so I wasn't looking to the cleanse to cure any dreaded diseases. I was just looking for a little help with my IBS. I was researching IBS online when I found Dr. Natura, and I figured a cleaner colon couldn't hurt, whether it improved IBS symptoms or not. And I have been so pleased with this program!

I have not seen anything like the frightening pictures you see on the website, but I have had a lot of "waste removal," and it has happened every day around mid-morning since I started. No frantic trips to the bathroom for me; just consistent results once or twice a day.

I didn't start it for weight loss, but that has been a nice side effect. Every day lately, someone asks me what I'm doing to lose so much weight. After only a few weeks, I noticed that my "pooch" was gone. I have always been a thin person, but I have had that pooch since college! I'm 34 now and have had a child, but my little belly is totally gone - flat as a pancake! And my pants are getting looser, too. I'm going to start trying on the "skinny pants" in the back of my closet soon! :)

I did have headaches for a couple of days, but after checking testimonials on the Dr. Natura website, I think that is a normal product of stirring up those toxins as they are working themselves out of your body. And I haven't had any more of those since the first week.

The best part is really how easy it is to do. Some pills and a fiber drink in the morning, and some tea at night. I even look forward to the soothing tea-drinking before I go to bed. And I haven't changed my diet one bit. I'm not a bad eater, but I do enjoy a cheeseburger more often than I should.

Two suggestions: the water really is crucial. I keep a 32-ounce cup with a lid and straw at my desk, and I make myself drink two servings from it every day. And I steep the tea longer than it says. For the first five days, I steeped it at least 5 minutes, and now I steep it for 20-25 minutes. That works for me. I got the tip from the website; going back to read more testimonials now that I'm doing it has given me more suggestions, info, explanations, etc.

Oh, and I upped the fiber to 2 scoops by the fourth week. Again, that seems to work well for me.

Bottom line: I love it, and I can't imagine who wouldn't benefit from it. I have my sister and mother doing it now. My hubby - well, we're working on that. We've been married 7 years, but we still don't share "bathroom" stories. And I'm OK with that! :)

Good luck with whatever you decide!

I've done the Dr. Natura Colonix a few times and it's been great. I suffer from irritable bowel syndrome and would get terrible pains at least two to three times a months for days on end. After I started Dr. Natura, the pain went away for about a year. Then it started up again, and I started the Dr. Natura again for about a month and the pain went away.

Just a warning though, the third day on the stuff you will get really bloated, but if you can get through that day, the results will be worth it. Good luck!

I am on my second month and I have really enjoyed it. My husband and I started it together and talk about it often:). It was pricey, I have not tried a regular fiber drink from the drug store so I don't know if they work, but I know they are cheaper. Dr. Natura works! Mild headaches, but they didn't last. We have quit taking the paranil and only do the powder drink and tea. The taste of the powder isn't wonderful, but just drink it quick. The tea is a nice end to a long day. I no longer drink diet cokes all day and night, I drink more than my 64oz of water a day, and maybe a soda or two on weekends, but I've kicked the caffine. Hope this helps, I would recommend it to anyone. Good luck!

Hi C.,

I too have being wanting to do a thorough body cleanse; tried many different kinds of cleansers with little or no results - one or two actually did more harm than good.

I have researched Dr. Natura's and found nothing but good things about this company. My research dates back to the mid 1990s; don't know why it's taken me so long to finally take the plunge a couple of months ago (too chicken, I guess). I could only afford one month and I really enjoyed every bit of it. It really does work and it is - as it says - very gentle. It is worth the money.

I plan to get back on the program once I can afford the entire three months.

It does carry a guarantee in case you're not satisfied. They are wonderful people; they are there if you need to communicate with them at any time and they respond promptly.

To your success,
T.

Hi C.! In the past I've had problems with too much estrogen and was put on the Standard Process cleanse by my nutritionist Kellie Lancaster in Decatur (she's also in Bowie). This cleanse was so effective! I lost weight, my estrogen leveled out, it helped me to get pregnant, and I had tons of energy. Now, it does require eating organic, but by no means to you have to starve. And, to boot, it's a pretty gentle cleanse compared to the others that I've tried before and since. I highly recommend Standard Process, but you can't just go buy it or order it online. You've got to get it from a dietician or nutritionist. They do have a website, google it. Best Wishes!

I am actually in the middle of my second month right now. I like it and think it works. Within the first few days I felt like I had more energy that I had stopped drinking caffeine and I think that is where my headaches came from. After a few days it was fine. I just started the Toxout yesterday (I bought it late) and so I don't know how that works yet but I am sure I will be pleased. My husband also feels so much better since he has been doing this cleanse.

Arbonne has a comprehensive full head to toe cleanse that is holistic and safe. Botanicals from the ocean are used to stimulate, strengthen and support your well-being from the inside out. So weird because my name is C. and my last name begins with a B. I did the Dr. Natura's Colonix a few months ago. I did it for two months. The first week or so I had terrible headaches, after they subsided it was fine. The fiber drink is a little hard to finish! The result (in the toilet) looks nothing like what they show on the testimonials! I am not sure it was worth the money.

I prefer the Renew Life cleanses(sold at most health stores). They are non-stimulant and you won't need to set up camp in the bathroom. There are cleanses specifically designed for first time cleansers. I am concerned with Senna as that is used in several stimulant laxatives. Happy Cleansing:))

Greetings C.:

I bought the program about 2 1/2 months ago. I did it daily for a month and did notice alot of changes in BM's, but I stopped. I recently started back with the fiber and paranil tab, but have not completed an entire month with consistency to do the Toxinout. If I had to do it over again, I would just go to the health food store, get some pure Psyllium husks and those good bacteria tab and some Emergen C tabs. It is very costly, but it gives you massive waste removal aftera few days of drinking the fiber, and it taste okay. I blend mine with some cold apple juice and that strawberry banana drink from Mexico. It makes a good smoothie, but you have to drink it fast and blend it well so you don't get a thick consistency. If you have the finances to try it, you won't be disappointed, but there are cheaper ways to get the same results. I'm too far intothe program to turn back now.

Good luck!
Love and blessings,
N.

My husband and I both have done this cleanse. My husband could not do the tea as it interacted with his medications but he did the rest of it. Both of us noticed the results and were pleased. The first time I did this I did the 3 months. The following year I just did a month of it but still found it helpful. Good luck
