From what I can tell since I bought this pack of Pampers (I usually use huggies but had a great coupon) He has had this really bad diaper rash. It seems to get better when I change him in to other diapers.
Also any suggestions on how to get rid of the diaper rash?
It is not near his anal area but all around his crotch area.
He is really sensitive anyway ..but this is the worsed rash he has ever had.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Ok so I think what may have caused it to be a really bad rash, is that it may be chicken pocks. He seems to have marks but very few of them that point to the good ol chicken pocks, but it did not really spread to the rest of his body. But he still has a little bit of the rash but it is getting better.

My daughter was definitely allergic to Pampers. She could wear any other diaper, but everytime I tried Pampers her bottom would become red and raw. My ped gave had us use Nistatin for her rash, it worked wonders on her. She would be completely clear by the next diaper change. Unfortunately, you can't get it over the counter so just ask you doctor about it.

I have not had any problems with Pampers with either of my kids, but when my youngest one gets a diaper rash, our pediatrician suggested Triple Paste (I bought mine at Babies R Us) and it has worked exceptionally well. I also let the diaper area air dry before putting on another diaper.

My daughter was allergic to Pampers, same reaction as everyone else. I found that the ultratrim huggies leak terribly, so I tried Luvs since they are like Pampers, better at not leaking, and my daughter has no problems with the Luvs.
Nystatin is only for a yeast infection so unless you believe that he has a yeast infection in addition to the allergic reaction I would just use Desitin. It's such a shame with diapers being so expensive that you'll have to give them away or get rid of them, but I've been there, done that. Good Luck!

Finally found out that my baby is allergic to Pampers Diapers ever since they switched to NEW Dri-max system. Tried several attempts at Desitin without result. My Pediatrician thought it was a fungal infection and gave us an anti-fungal, and it did not do anything. The allergic reaction got worse and started to spread, my baby was hurting. Finally, we applied a small amount of low dose topical steriod, and the lesion resolved. This convinced us that it was not a fungal infection. But soon, it reappeared as we were still using Pampers. Finally, I took my baby to the Dermatologist who informed me that it was the Pampers 'DRI-MAX' diapers, and advised to switch to a Hypoallergenic product. I changed to Organic Hypoallergenic Huggies brand, and magically, the lesions resolved in less that 48 hours. It was amazing!! My baby was finally happy when I was changing her diaper rather than listening to those painful cries. Never had an issue with Pampers with my other 2 kids, but this new Pampers product is not appropriate for babies skin. I advise other Mom's with this same issue with their babies, to switch hypoallergenic diaper brand. It is NOT A DIAPER RASH, it is an allergic rash.

My daughter had the same reaction. I think its something that they put in the diapers for absorbency. I would switch back to Huggies (that's the only brand we could use) and for awhile with each diaper change use vaseline. It acts as a great wetness barrier and allows for things to heal. You might also want to try letting him air out for a bit. My daughter was usually cleared up the next day. Good Luck! (And I miss So Cal too!)

Yes!!! My friend's little boy had the exact same problem. The pediatrician said to switch to Huggies and it went away! So from now on she only uses Huggies. Go get some!

I have a nephew that was allergic to only Pampers diapers. It has to do with the way they're made. My sister-in-law said that they were made with bleach (that was 18 years ago).

when my kids had bad diaper rash, I used desetin. It was nice and thick and would protect their skin from the dry diapers. I also liked to use A&D ointment, and used that most of the time on them.
