We are taking our five 1/2 month old daughter to her first Cubs game tomorrow... it says on cubs.com you bring strollers, but has anyone actually done this? We live walking distance from Wrigley so we were thinking we would take the stroller or baby Bjorn.... thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone for your answers!!!! We walked to Wrigley Field with Alison in our stroller, checked it right inside the front gate, then used our Baby Bjorn.... it worked out great. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun, despite the huge loss of 4 - 13.

I think bringing the stroller would be a pain. When we took our son we just used the Bjorn.

I just went with my daughter. Take the Bjorn. It's so much easier.

I have not brought my stroller but they do have a stroller "parking area" just inside the gate(not sure which gate, but you can ask once you get there). It is like a bag check area that is secure. Not sure if you even have the option to bring the stroller into the stadium any further than that, so you may want to bring the bjorn along as well for the game. Have fun, it is supposed to be a nice day!

We took my daughter to 4 games before she was 9 months old and always stuck with the Bjorn. We always park somewhere around Racine/Belmont and walk over and it worked out great. Plus if we needed to walk during the game, it was easier than carrying her.

We have a friend who is an usher and I believe she said you can also bring the stroller up the ramps, if you're in the terraces, and park it back in the SRO section behind the seats.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprized at how easy it was. There is a stroller check-in, they'll give you a claim ticket like a coat check. I took my 12-month old and had a blast. I did take a sling to carry him to our seats, as well. He stayed perched in that for most of the game. Also, I brought him to a White Sox game using the sling alone ( on the train and everything). I liked the stroller check-in, though. You'll need to get your baby gear as compact as you can ( diapers and that) because there is not a ton of space.
I hope you have a great time.

we have not personally, however we have seen those who try and it does not seem to be an easy task. when we took our son noah to his first few games we went with the bjorn...it's far easier.
