Have a great day everyone!
We're watching the Macy parade on tv (where it's warm!) and I'll be starting the turkey soon.
I made pumpkin cheesecake yesterday for dessert tonight.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We went to my brother's and his girlfriend's. I was lucky enough to get one of my sons home, so he went with us too. We had a tremendous amount of amazing food and my parents were there as well. Thankful for all our blessings!

I eat a little actual food and then eat a lot of pie. Cooked for 23 this year and we all had a wonderful time. Best part? Tomorrow is second Thanksgiving aka a dozen people come back and we all eat leftovers.

I have too many blessings to count. I am a very blessed person.

Happy Thanksgiving to you! We travelled to NYC to celebrate with my adult children. I am so thankful for my family, friends, life and God. Now if my guardian angel and all the saints in Heaven could help me with my new, vicious cold, that would be even more to be thankful for!

For the past three years I have worked on Thanksgiving. For the 12 years before that I have been running my family to my parent's house, home, and back to their house.

THIS THANKSGIVING I stayed home. I didn't work. My best girlfriend of 17 years came over and we baked, ate, and played board games with my kids. The husband and children cleaned up after, and then we watched a movie. IT WAS AMAZING!
Then she came back on Friday with her son (he was at dads on Thursday) and we did it all again!
Saturday we went and cut down our tree and decorated it, and today while I was at work my husband put up lights outside.
It's been a great 3 days.

I make a five-gallon pot full of gumbo and we invite family and friends over. They are welcome to bring anyone they know who doesn't have anywhere to go.
Since we are a family that consists of Christians, Pagans, and atheists, we don't do a traditional blessing. Instead, we go around the table, and each person names one thing for which they are grateful.
